Pura Expensive - Edit
The vegan options are extremely expensive for no reason, very little food and nothing special.

Delicious meal - Edit
They had a special Christmas menu. They had 2-3 Vegan options on the menu. I had a delicious coconut curry with heura chicken and my friend had a quineo burger. She really liked her burger but with came with honey mustard sause which is not vegan. I informed the Waiter so they know in future.

Name has changed - Edit
There is a restaurant named Pura Vida instead of Dara now. They still serve healtgy food with vegan options. We had soups for the first course, one carrot soup and one pumpkin soup. Not much taste, but sure no unnecessary ingredients. For second course we got baked aubergines topped with lentils and sauce and that was tasty but small.

Not feeling that good - Edit
I passed by this place last week and enquired about their vegan options. It didn't seem that promising to me. However, because of the positive reviews below, I eventually decided to give it a try. I should have known better.
Read moreTo be fair, I made it there today, that is, no ordinary day. That meant they had no daily menu and offered a (very meat and fish heavy) a la carte fare instead, which was presumably more expensive. I had two courses, a pumpkin and orange soup with some bread, which I found decent. Additionally, I had an hummus "deluxe", which was a bit of a joke; not only did the "fresh herbs" amount to just a hint of dill, the actual hummus was forgettable at best, both in terms of texture and flavour. There's no reason to serve this as a meal, or to spend 14 euro on this kind of deal, especially when you have the fully vegetarian (and much more inexpensive) Zoe Food right around the corner..

Especial - Edit
No hay demasiadas opciones veganas pero lo que hay sorprende. Platos deliciosos e ingredientes de gran calidad. Un poco caro pero merece la pena. Ojalá mas postres gluten free!

Best vegan food, breads and cakes in Las Palmas - Edit
We celebrated my girlfriend's birthday and found this fantastic restaurant with a lots of vegan food. It gave her day a unique and gastronomical vegan experience. We had tasty soup made from the ground up with fresh local vegetables and a falafel platter with a lot of tasty dishes and home made grain and rye bread. As a dessert we had coffee. We simply couldn't eat more so we save the homede cakes to next time. We highly recommend this restaurant for any vegan/vegetarian that wants to experience old town atmosphere and fresh food.

A bit pricier than we were expecting.. - Edit
Popped in for brunch. The place looks v nice and is quite spacious inside. We had a veggie brunch for 2 (do be careful, although it is in the menu as brunch for 2 people the price - 16e is per person..). The menu also said a choice of tea, coffee or orange juice came with it, but I noticed as we left we’d been charged separately for the drinks too. Brunch was ok - they run out of vegan sausages and so we had some grilled tofu instead. One of the fried eggs did taste v much of bacon though, so I suspect they aren’t using a separate grill. They have a little range of health food products for sale too. But I was a bit disappointed with the food

Cons: Cost a lot more than expected , Veggie stuff not cooked separately
