unexpected but lovely! - Edit
unexpected to find a vegan cafe and refill station in the middle of a park but it was a pleasant surprise! the blueberry bakewell and iced masala chai were 👌👌 great for a sunny day and will definitely be back. the barista was also very knowledgable and up for a chat about alternative milk pairings for tea and coffee 💜

A bit disappointing - Edit
Cake selection was a bit disappointing. 3 out of 6 had gone entirely despite it only being 1pm. Seems it had been a really busy day for them. Cake itself was a bit disappointing - quite crumbly and not much taste to the sponge. Coffee was decent though.

Prism Break - Edit
An utterly delightful vegan kiosk and coffee shop in the extremely pleasant surroundings of Saltwell Park. Superb coffee and fabulous cakes. The pineapple and cherry cake was succinctly succulent. Perfect place to pop to on the bike. All their legendary savoury sausage rolls were sold out so make sure you get there at least before 2pm otherwise you’re missing out. I’m definitely heading back soon There’s a good range of ethical household products too.
Read moreHad to add that on a return visit today I had one of their black pudding sausage rolls which was superb. I’m absolutely determined to come back and try their other two varieties before the summer’s out.

Great snack / coffee option in Saltwell - Edit
Prism coffee is a great option in Saltwell Park for a quick vegan snack and coffee.
Read moreOne of putting things is the name of some of the items (e.g. a couple of items has the following in the name: black pudding / haggis which was really off putting even though they assured us they were plant based - maybe a better name for those in future!?).
After getting over the names, what we had was decent though!
Pros: Decent snacks
Cons: Names of some items off putting, Benches are a but uncomfortable

Vegan with a park view - Edit
I loved this place! The sweet and savory pastries were all delicious. The staff was super nice and the view was unbeatable. Plus there was a parade of the cutest most English looking dogs in the world.

Love this place, we just came across it! Oat milk as standard! All cakes and bakes are vegan! Nice other customers recommend to us the marmite bake, something to come back for (choice changes daily). Owner clearly a coffee expert. Relaxing vibe

A Canny little place. - Edit
I came here with my Mum for a cup of tea & a bit to eat. There are plenty of drinks options, the food consists of Sausage Rolls & Cakes. I had the Cookie & Cream cake which was nice, Mum had the Chilli Sausage Roll, I did try abit & it was amazing! Prism Coffee is in Saltwell Park & is a short walk from the entrance to the park which is opposite The Little Theater.

Oat milk as default - Edit
This cafe and refill station is great. The coffee is delicious and the selection of cakes and sausage rolls are all vegan. You have to ask for dairy milk as the exception.

Eco Corner Cafe - Edit
A welcome addition to the lovely saltwell park with lots of sweet and savoury vegan options available.
Read moreWe shared a sweet chilli sausage roll, a onion chutney sausage roll, carrot cake and blueberry bakewell. The rolls were very well seasoned and flavoursome, whilst the sweets were very moorish and deliciously tasty, particularly the carrot cake. We also got two lattes, which were excellent too.
Not all options are labelled so best to check first, but staff are super friendly. The cafe also sells a range of eco friendly products. Looking forward to returning again.
Pros: Great food, Eco friendly , Staff
Cons: Not all options labelled vegan (so ask!)
