yes

I went here today and was so happy with a few items I got, the others were meh. MUST try items if you go: house fried rice (we got chicken, it was pretty good), satay chicken, and flower cups. Those were phenomenal and I was so happy I got them. My partner tried the broccoli delight with beef but he wasn’t satisfied because the sauce wasn’t thick at all (he expected it to be somewhat thick since they say it’s mushroom sauce). The beef was pretty good tho and I’d recommend it if you don’t mind thin sauce.

Pros: pretty good options, quick service

Great menu, flavorful food

The sampler appetizer platter, with the vegan samosa option, showcases the restaurant’s popular and wonderful variety of flavors. Tangerine chick’n is a favorite among reviewers. I prefer the Rama, with steamed vegetables, organic tofu, heart-shaped steamed brown rice and peanut sauce. Good sized portions and pretty presentation. Great service and ambiance. There was a line out the door 5:30p on a Saturday night. Reservations are highly recommended.

Pros: Lots of delicious vegan menu items, Healthier options like the Rama entree, Excellent service on a busy night

Cons: Only one co-ed bathroom , Line out the door on a chilly night

Just try the tangerine!

Tangerine "chicken" or "duck" would be my first choice if you've never been here. Also the spicy basil and spicy eggplant are my healthier alternative choices. Most of the menu is vegan.

One of our favorites!

Very busy, very good, very worthwhile. Almost completely vegan menu. Mock duck is succulent. Love the mock duck larb. Offers vegan Thai ice tea, which is a big plus. Parking is tough on weekends and evenings, and reservations are a big help.

Pros: Mock duck larb!!, Price, Portions

Cons: Parking

Best vegan thai in town

Some dishes are hit and miss but what they do well is awesome. Som Tom, Tom Kha, Red and Pumpkin Currys. Drunken Noodle, Tangerine Chicken. The star of this place is the Larb w Mock Duck and the Chicken Satay. Great friendly service too.

Great food

I ate here with two of my friends, we all enjoyed our meals. The reason for 4 stars is that one friend, who isn’t veg had awful stomach cramps later that night that may have been because of the food and my stomach was a little upset too. We’d eaten there a few times prior and this was the first time thats happened, so I’m not 100% it was the food. Plenty of seating, good for large parties. Waiters are busy so sometimes you have to grab their attention.

Better Vegan Thai Out There

Don’t understand the hype. The food is in my opinion is not really to fresh. Also the portions were sort of small. The staff was fairly rude and the seating was cramped. I really enjoyed Veganic Thai, very close by, a few days later. They really nailed it and were even cheaper!

Pros: All vegan except egg choice

Cons: Rude service, Small portions

The Larb

This restaurant would be the sole reason why I’d move to San Diego!
The larb is my favorite and I could not get enough of it. I always ordered it. The skewers with peanut sauce is another awesome food on their many. I mean all of it is, those are my favorites.
Enjoy!

Fantastic Thai food!

All veggie, tons of vegan options, and mostly gluten free (they don't use soy sauce). Bonus for using local San Diego Soy Dairy tofu. Our go-to Thai spot in town.

Pros: Delicious, Vegetarian/Vegan, Gluten Free

Yum... Yum... Yummy!

If you find yourself in San Diego craving delicious Thai Food Plumeria is a MUST stop. Their menu is beyond awesome. Basically they are completely vegan I know they add egg to some dishes but only on request for vegetarians or non vegans. As a Vegan I will say Plumeria is by far my favorite restaurant in San Diego. Their food is GREAT!

Pros: Mostly Vegan Menu, Delicious Food, Wonderful Menu

A merry Christmas dinner

We went here for Christmas dinner. Of course, the place was packed, but the friendly staff never lost their cool and worked smoothly.

We started with the chicken satay, which was fantastic. My husband got the pineapple fried rice with duck, and I got the regular fried rice with chicken. My dish was good, but I wasn’t a big fan of the soggy fake chicken. My husband’s dish, with crispy cashews and crispy fake duck, tasted better to me. I’ll have to get that next time.

Thank you, Plumeria, for being open on Christmas!

SO GOOD

My favorite restaurant! I come here ALL the time. I always get the fresh spring rolls and Thai iced tea with coconut milk. BEST PEANUT SAUCE EVER!!!😍 The waiters and waitresses are so nice. Such a great atmosphere. I would recommend to vegans, vegetarians, and non-vegans alike! I’ve eaten my way through the whole menu (a bit of an exaggeration) and... EVERYTHING IS GOOD.

Pros: Great service, nice workers, BEST peanut sauce, Fantastic food

Cons: NONE!!

Yes!

This restaurant is so good! I literally wanted to order everything on the menu. I got the pumpkin curry at level 3 spicy and it wasn't bad! I survived! (I'm usually bad with spicy things.) My friend ordered the spicy noodles with tofu, also at a level 3 spicy, and I think they were better than my curry. But try them for yourself! They have all your traditional curries, Thai entrees, soups, salads, fried rice, and so much more and it's all vegan. Oh, and vegan ice cream...Yum!

stellar

Everything was stellar. Thai ice tea, satay, flower cups, spicy noodles with mock chicken, eggplant with mock duck, vegan vanilla ice cream ALL was fresh, quality ingredients and artfully prepared. I will be moving into the back of the restaurant and sleeping in a cot so I can eat here always! Service was exemplary as well!

fantastic Thai food

I have the tuna salad (extra spicy) and the ginger soy chicken. The tuna salad was really tasty and it is served with little rice flower cups. The soy ginger chicken was delicious- lots of vegetables and very flavorful.

Pros: service, variety of gf vegan options

Cons: it is in San Diego, not Las Vegas where I live
