We had some of the best tacos ever here.
Read more3 tacos for $130 pesos I loved all three:
Kentucky - with breaded oyster mushrooms
Choripapa - with chickpeas and potatoes
Barbacoa - with cauliflower and adobo sauce
They even make their own tortillas.
We also shared the Enchiladas with beans cheez, rice and avocado for 155 pesos. Delicious and not too spicy.
Water of the day was 25 pesos - it was pineapple and perfect on a hot day.
We definitely want to return to try more things.

Read moreThe menu is entirely authentic vegan Mexican, which is rare around here since most places sacrifice quality of their dishes by adding a plethora of different cuisines to their menu in hopes of grabbing your business. Plantivoros on the other hand keeps it to what they’re good at, and I appreciate that!
I’ve ate here a few times and everything is great, but naturally some are better than others. The nachos with Pibil rocks, their enchiladas are bomb, the tacos are great, the tlacoyo or quesadilla is fire. The only critique I’d really have is that the bread for my Cuban torta was a bit dry, but they do give you a side sauce for a reason. Otherwise it was great.
The staff is super friendly, and prices are right. It’s a plus that it’s a walk away from 5th Ave, so far touristy. If you’re vegan, give it a try for sure.

Delicious authentic vegan Mexican food, you can't go wrong here. I recommend the Baja taco and the flautas, but based on the high quality, you'll be delighted with everything on the menu. So so tasty and such friendly service. This place is a gem!

Has to be the best restaurant I’ve been to. I got the cubano sandwich and it was so great 😄 The waitress was super sweet and cute as well. I ended up going twice in the week I was at Mexico just to get that sandwich again. It’s going to be a place I’ll be missing at home 🥺 Everything seemed super clean as well. Lots of care goes into the restaurant from service, food, style, and cleanliness.

We ordered vegan tacos, which come in many options, including their famous Kentucky style, Al pastor, and barbacoa, to name a few. The food is fresh and seasoned well, but their service is even better. Our server asked us if we preferred to speak in English or Spanish, and we wanted to practice our Spanish so we we told her and she was very gracious with us. We had a wonderful experience and ordered tamales to go so we would have something to eat for dinner that night too.

We where today at the old location and found a sign that they moved. The new location is marked right at Google maps. I already gave HappyCow a message about that. Great food and nice staff. One Star less though for the new location - not as quiet and green as the old one. Definitely worth a visit though and the breaded oyster mushroom meat option was our favorite.
