Nice atmosphere and great flavours - Edit
The fried wontons were the best. Also very fresh wheat tortillas and good beyond meat dim sum. Really pretty relaxing space. Next door is a small market with lots of vegan options

Best sushi - Edit
We arrived earlier and were disappointed that the full dinner menu wasn't available, so we got the lunch sushi options.
Read moreI'm glad it was the only option because it was easily the BEST sushi I've ever had. Please get the chile roll and kimchi roll, although I don't think you'll be disappointed with any option.
Beware: portions are much larger than typical sushi rolls. We got three and struggled to finish them between rather hungry men.
Yes, it's pricier than other places but 100% worth the cost.

Interstellar! - Edit
We were so impressed with the creativity at Plantasia: the sushi was otherworldly--so authentic, a shock to the vegan senses--and the other appetizers we had hit the notes too--in depth of texture, aroma and flavor. Service was tiptop, and we also enjoyed the intersectional space, imagine a Buddhist temple in the jungle decked out in the furniture from your rich aunt's terrace!

Great food and stylish decor - Edit
This was my favourite vegan spot in CDMX. Great Asian-inspired food, and really good deserts too. And unlike so many vegan places which are more cafe-style, this is a proper restaurant with stylist decor.

Great food!!!!!!!!! - Edit
My friend and I were visiting Mexico City from Texas, and I got the momos and the udon noodles. Overall, the food was delicious! This was my first time trying momos, and I was totally obsessed with the sauce. The udon noodles tasted more like an Italian dish than a Japanese dish, but it was wonderful too.

Fave in CDMX - Edit
I went here the most because I wanted to try everything on the menu from breakfast to dinner!! The ambiance is beautiful, the service fantastic, and the food is some of the best I’ve had. Because I was there with friends, I got to try a little of everything. But the items worth pointing out are the glorified cheese stick (manchego skewer), any sushi roll, and the brioche dessert - best dessert in the world maybe! Don’t miss the breakfast menu too.

My New Favorite Resturant - Edit
During my time in Mexico City I went here at least 4 times. I was obsessed with this place since my first bite, now let me tell you everything I tried and what were my favs.
Read moreBreakfast: Shakshuka with naan, the sauce was smoky and tangy with the eggy tofu that complimented it very well. I was surprised by how simple yet delicious it was.
Appetizers: I have tried the Spicy Beyond Dim Sum which was pretty good but not as spicy as I expected. The grilled mango and cream cheese onigiri was my favorite appetizer there, I loved the combination of sweet and savory. The fried chipotle onigiri, it was good but i much preferred the grilled version. The Brussel Sprout Skewer was cooked perfectly but outshined by the Manchego Skewer which was basically a mozzarella stick, I was OBSESSED with it.
Mains: The pad thai was good but a little on the oily side and had corn in it which I wasn't the biggest fan of, it did have great tofu though. The Mi Goreng was very good and spicy and had the BEST tempeh I've ever had (i think they fried it??) I just wish it had more veggies in it. I tried many sushi rolls here, all of them are amazing but I recommend the Dragon Spicy Roll the most.
Desserts: THE BRIOCHE!!! It's sweet, salty, and rich but the fresh berries and pistachio ice cream lighten it up. Get it. The taro donuts were also amazing and good to share as you get 4 of them.

Must try - Edit
You should definitely go here when you're in Mexico City. It has a fine dining feeling but is still affordable. They know how to make things taste amazing: the sushi, curry, pad thai.. all delicious! One of the better vegan places I've been to during my 3,5 week stay in Mexico.

My husband and I loved the atmosphere and food at Plantasia! Everything we got was delicious. The sushi was the best vegan sushi I have ever tasted. I would also go back for the taro donuts. They were perfectly chewy and sweet.

great selection of asian-inspired vegan dishes! - Edit
a very large menu with items inspired by various asian dishes - sushi, pad thai, udon, peking “duck”, dumplings, and more. items are not necessarily authentic but they are tasty and filling - even non-vegans will enjoy!

Un lugar muy agradable para desayunar y comer, los rollitos de sushi son muy ricos, el queso de nuez de la india que utilizan es pff riquisimo, además hay días en la semana que hacen eventos con música en vivo y promociones.❤️

Asian Vegan Delights - Edit
I was surprised to find this Asian fusion vegan restaurant in México City. I had a salad with a tofu side dish. It’s very fresh and tasty. They are also very accommodating when I asked for low sodium and a tofu side dish and the staff is super friendly and the atmosphere is amazing as well.
