Massive brunch - Edit
People were not kidding about the brunch. Wow! It was massive and you hit a little bit of everything. I left full and happy. The lunch menu looked spectacular (and frankly, more interesting) but I was really in the mood for brunch food. I hope I get a chance to go back for lunch or dinner.

BEST MEAL IN REYKJAVIK! - Edit
Had the weekend brunch plate today and it was UNREAL!!!! So much variety, such incredible flavor, and all 100% vegan! Definitely check out their cakes, cinnamon rolls, cheesy rolls, coffee, & tea, too. It was an outstanding meal — also with good views of Hallgrimskirkja over the lake! Our fave meal we had while in Iceland for two weeks!

Great food in beautiful surroundings - Edit
Plantan Bístró in The Nordic House has the same owners as Plantan Kaffihús, a small vegan café in down town Reykjavík. I am a fan of both places - everything is delicious and very filling.
Read moreI had soup of the day, Mexican style tomato based soup, very rich and so good! It came with delicious sourdough bread. Portion was very good and price is on par with your average Reykjavík lunch price.
I wanted to get a dessert but didn't have space this time - but their baked goods are not to be missed!
The Nordic House by Finnish architect Alvar Aalto is a lovely place to visit and rich in history. If the weather allows, you can sit outside in the beautiful Vatnsmýri and watch it's diverse population of birds while you enjoy your meal.
Highly recommended!

Very good coffee house! - Edit
This was so much fun. On the campus of the university, sharing the building with the library, the Bistro is located. We had an amazing weekend brunch, looking a lot like a vegan English breakfast. We also had coffee, tea and some cake. Very lovely, highly recommend!

Delicious brunch and beautiful location - Edit
We were here for the brunch and really enjoyed all the varied components. Foccacio was the best i've eaten. We were too full to try any more baked goods, but they looked amazing.
