I've been in a few Planta's already in the US, now 1st time in Canada. It's also wonderful, great food, atmosphere and service. It's pricy but I appreciate a nice three courses meal and for me it's worth it.

Can’t beat $8 maki rolls at planta! The food here is made exceptionally well. Lots of options and they have a seasonal menu that they rotate every month.
Read moreFor the planta queen location, I would say that the hot foods are not the healthiest - a lot of it is fried or covered in heavy sauces or both. Good as a treat once in a while

my servers G & Reece were iconic. they made me feel at home and really well taken care of. they were insanely friendly (potentially the friendliest ive met in TO so far) and had great recommendations. it’s also super cool to know that staff at this restaurant don’t turn over, a lot of them have been here for years which is always a great sign to see in this industry!
food was 10/10 and happy hour deals are so worth it. defs bring all your veg and non veg friends here, everyone will love it!

It's a mix of Asian food from many countries, so it's kind of a "jack of all trades" deal where most dishes are not as good as they would be in say, a Thai restaurant. But I guess if you haven't eaten good food from various types of cuisine, it would probably seem ok to you.

When my best friend told me to pick a place for my birthday, I suggested Planta Queen as had never been . OMG! Couldn’t have asked for a better, most delicious birthday meal. Based on reviews here and suggestions on my post on TO Vegans FB group, I chose the Bang Bang Broccoli ( uh amazing!!) and Udon noodles in truffles mushroom cream ( so delicious and filling). My omni friend chose Crispy Gyozo and Poke and she enjoyed both. I ordered a salted maple macchiato, maple syrup made in house, was so yummy! We shared the matcha cheesecake ( SO creamy! Not cashew but sour cream and coconut oil 😳) and huge chocolate chip cookie. The menu and decor are so different from Planta Yorkville and now closed Planta Burger to which both I have been. With the menu changing often, I can see why people come here often to try out the various dishes. The Power lunch: starter, main dish and cookie at $28 plus taxes is a great value! I honestly can’t wait to go back again and work through the menu! Truly a must visit vegan or omni!💚

I tried the lunch deal with sushi and creamy udon. Absolutely fantastic food. I was pretty mind blown by how good the sushi was, that was probably the highlight of my meal. The free cookie at the end of the meal was comically large too. This is one of two Planta locations in the area. Planta Queen focuses more on Asian fusion and I personally preferred this location.

The menu at Planta Queen is amazing. Some of the same items are on the Planta Yorkville menu, but there are more noodle dishes on this Asian fusion menu. Most things I’ve tried have been outstanding, but a few instances of food that was the wrong temperature or overly salted. It’s a beautiful space, definitely pricy. I had a terrible experience here on Valentine’s Day 2023 (they overbooked the restaurant so the quality was awful), but they made up for it by comping my next meal. The service is hit or miss at this location, but the favourite menu items keep us coming back.

Took my non-vegan boyfriend here and he was delighted! This all plant-based restaurant was top tier. Incredible flavors and variety. Great shareable portions to mix and match. The food came out fresh with beautiful presentation. The atmosphere was clean and chill. The server was informative, kind, and attentive. We will definitely be returning!

Service didn't stand out, but the food was still ready quickly and seemed to be consistent amongst cities. I had the Dan Dan Noodles in Washington D.C. and they're just as good here! The bubble waffle sundae was a nice surprise, definitely the best dessert I've ever tried from PLANTA

First time visiting Planta and it exceeded our expectations. The Asian inspired lunch menu was amazing. Everything tasted delicious and fresh. The matcha cheesecake and Vietnamese iced coffee to round everything up, blew my mind. We will defiantly be back.

This is probably the best vegan restaurant ever! The service was great and the quality of the food was beyond yum! The portion sizes were large enough to have leftovers boxed up! The prices were reasonable, the ambiance upbeat. Just a great place to eat!

Udon Noodles - meh - Edit
I was in between meetings and got the Udon Noodles to go. I didn't get to eat in, but the vibe seemed fancy. The staff was friendly, and the food was ready pretty fast. Udon noodle was like a noodle cream oil soup with mushrooms and light truffles. Mine wasn't very heavy on the truffle, so it was bland. I still enjoyed it, given how unusual it was. It likely would have been better as an order-in dish.
