Fab - Edit
Had to wait twenty minutes for a table but it was worth it.
Read moreThe miso sandwich looked quite small but was really filling, tasty and had a feel good factor. The picnic plate again didn’t look that much but was ideal for lunch. The burger was. Eaton’s and suited an 11 yes old.
We didn’t have cake but the selection of desserts looked fantastic.
Lovely staff.
Pros: Health, 100%, Yum

Great Chickpea Fries - Edit
Nice Café within walking distance of the museum of natural history. We tried the Chickpea fries, Pumpkin quiche and Tahini sprouts sandwich. It was too much for two people, so we took a Pineapple Muffin, Chocolate Chip Cookie and Cashew Creme cheese to take away. The fries were great, the Pumpkin Quiche lacked in flavour for me and I found it a bit too firm. The Sandwich was good as well as the desserts, however not exceptional. If we would have stayed longer in NYC, we would have tried more of the cakes and pastries.

didn’t love it as much as i expected😞 - Edit
the service was great, but there wasn’t really much of an aesthetic or decor which is fine. i felt like the food was a let down. i ordered the pumpkin quiche because it sounded really unique but i just don’t think it hit the mark for me. it wasn’t too expensive though! i will try it again for something else

Absolutely delicious! - Edit
Had lunch here on a March afternoon. It was not warm but although people were sitting inside and many tables were free we were told we couldn't sit there and had to sit outside. Not happy with that, but the food was actually worth it.
Read moreThe chickpea fries are a must! Soup of the day was very nice. The potato pizza was delicious. Took two slices of cake to go - the chocolate one was dry but the peanutbutter cheesecake was yummy.
Pros: Great options, Food is delicious
Cons: The waitress was a lot, We couldn't sit inside (although free tables), Dry chocolate cake

Good but could be better - Edit
Hadn't been to the uptown location in a looooong time and ended up here with family after a nearby show (of our group - one vegetarian, me the vegan, two non-veg).
Read moreI remember being a lot more impressed with the food, it was good but there are a lot of newer places doing much more with vegan food these days. Everyone agreed the food was yummy but nothing mind-blowing, ya know?
The service really left a lot to be desired. I normally don't comment on service as I care mostly about the food, but the couldn't care less attitude of the server just wasn't pleasant. Also she didn't allow me to plug in my phone to charge cuz it would "cause the power to go out"....um, what!?
The interior really needs some upgrades for the quality of food and prices too. Overall I'm not going to be rushing back, I do think the downtown location is better though!
Pros: Food was solid
Cons: Service could be a lot better, Atmosphere could be better, No liquor license

One of my favorites - Edit
I lived in NYC for over 19 years, and Peacefood Cafe was always one of my most favorite places to eat. The pot pie, the caesar salad, the wonton soup, basically any dessert - I loved everything I ever ate there, except one time, and that was the quiche. The only negative thing I ever had to say about either location is that the service was very spotty: I often spent a long time waiting to be served in any capacity - ordering, getting water refills, getting the check - but the food was always worth it.

Never disappoints😻 - Edit
My go to for postgame smoothies and nutritious pick me ups! Nourishing yet tastes like junk food, my kinda vegan cuisine! Extensive menu ensures you’re bound to find something you’ll love. I haven’t had a meal here that i didn’t drool over 🤤 The kale cesar salad dressing is the best in the world, full stop. Worth every last lick of the fork. Haven’t found better cesar dressing elsewhere! The staff are always super friendly and the music is groovin. Cant ask for any better experience than that 🤙
