Mein Mann wollte reservieren, der Herr am Telefon war unglaublich unfreundlich und wirkte interessiert - als wäre ein Gast, der reservieren möchte, einfach nur störend für ihn. Er hat während mein Mann sich noch verabschiedet hat dann auch einfach aufgelegt. Sind daraufhin nicht in das Restaurant, das geht für uns absolut nicht - schade, dass automatisch mind. zwei Sterne vergeben werden müssen, total unverdient!

Hier gibt es vegane, vietnamesische Küche zu günstigen Preisen. Die Location ist Ruhrpott pur. Die Portionen sind immer zum satt werden. Sehr zu empfehlen sind sie Sommerrollen mit Erdnuss-Sauce, die Nummer 29 und der Mangolassi.

Very simple decorated location but the food is great! They have vegan chicken, duck, shrimps, fish balls, chicken sate and many more. I had the mango lassi, a spicy curry coconut soup and shrimps as a starter (forgot to take a picture) and the vegan duck. It’s super cheap! We paid 34,50 for two soups, shrimps, two drinks and two times the duck. Really worth the money and definitely worth the taste!

Bei den günstigen Preisen kann man auf jeden Fall mehrere Sachen probieren, jedoch sollte man die sättigende Wirkung des Hauptgerichts nicht unterschätzen! Ich habe es bisher noch nie geschafft aufzuessen und musste es immer einpacken lassen.

Update 09/2022: Leider - ich glaube seit diesem Jahr - sind die letzten Besuche enttäuschend ausgefallen. Die Com Tam Saigon Marinade ist nicht mehr saftig und würzig, sondern nahezu geschmacklos. Lokal weiterhin ungemütlich, wurde nicht aufgewertet, Service am Tisch konnte kein einziges Mal lächeln und wirkte eher gelangweilt. Fürchte nun lohnt sich der Weg nicht mehr für uns, sehr schade. :(

Me and my partner are so thankful for this restaurant. We have come here again and again, for many different occasions and are happy Peace Food exists near us. They have such a special menu and even extras that aren't on the menu such as Bao Bao.

This restaurant also has the best value for money of any vegan restaurant we have ever been to in Germany. And super nice people!! We can only recommend this place. We hope they never have to close.

Mein Freund und ich gehen hier regelmäßig essen und sind sehr sehr dankbar dass Peace Food in unserer Nähe ist. Wir haben hier auch bereits Familientreffen stattfinden lassen. Es gibt viele verschiedene Speisen und sogar Extras die nicht auf der Karte stehen. Wir haben durch Peace Food neue Speisen kennengelernt die unser Leben bereichert haben 😊
Am meisten lieben wir das Steak und die Banh Baos. Diese zwei sind eigentlich bei jeder unserer Bestellungen mit dabei.
Außerdem besteht ein absolutes Top Preis-Leistungsverhältnis und die Menschen die hier arbeiten sind alle super super freundlich! Danke Peace Food, dass es euch gibt! ❤

If I could give 0 stars, I would. This restaurant has many vegan options, though everything is totally greasy and they try to replace the meat with greasy vegan alternatives such as seitan. Only pro: service is good.

Three delicious and filling main meals with drinks and two starter where just around 35 euro.

The Omni we lured there also was super happy and surprised how good vegan food is.
Staff was helpful and friendly too and spoke fluent English with us.

Das marinierte Sojasteak ist himmlisch saftig und würzig. In die Erdnusssoße könnte ich mich rein legen!!! Und die Baobällchen zum Nachtisch, liiiiebe ich. Die sind lecker, fluffig und nicht zu süß. Das Personal ist immer freundlich und erfüllt einem jeden Wunsch. Die Portionen sind so groß, dass ich manchmal den Rest einpacken lassen muss und für die Portionsgröße, Qualität und den Geschmack, finde ich es fast schon zu günstig.

It's a entirely vegan restaurant. The place is simple and cozy. The stuff is very friendly and the menu is just amazing. Meanwhile I've tried a variety of the dishes and all are simply delicious. The portions are big and the prices are reasonable. For me it's like a hidden gem in Essen, love that place.
