An oasis - Edit
So pleased we made the effort to find this little place - relaxing set up, with lovely staff and comfy outdoor seating area. Menu had much to offer, we opted for spring rolls and carrot cake - both were scrumptious. Would definitely recommend a visit.

Unacceptable - Edit
Lived here almost 7 years, order food from vegetarian and vegan restaurants/cafe's almost every day. Never any big problems. Until today: we ordered via Nham24 for 21$ from "Peace Cafe". I don't know what happened to the business. Several sauces had completely leaked (plastic container opened), the heavy food was placed on top, the light food on the bottom. The green salad was old and inedible. Okay, it can happen, so we tried to contact the cafe.
Read moreNo chance. Contrary to the usual practice in the country, it is not possible to contact them via Facebook. Second attempt via Telegram: Message read but ignored. Second message ignored. Contacted Nham24, they said the following: "and what would you like from us Bong?"
"As we checked with driver, he had apologize to you and you allow him to go Bong, so let me know that, what can we do on this issue Bong?"
Until now, the cafe was out of reach. Just careless.
I would say this cafe has lost a good customer.

Loved the peaceful garden atmosphere here, there is a cute shop selling nice quality gifts and you can book yoga, meditation and monk talk sessions.

Had the kebab and. Khmer curry, samosas and a carrot cake with banana peanut ice cream.
All delicious. Nice touch getting a cool hand towel to freshen up with.

The menu seems varied and prices are in the average. I had the shish kebab but I was a bit disappointed in the quantity. The food was good but nothing exceptional.

Litterally my fave place in Cambodia. - Edit
We had a list of places to try and today we tried Peace Cafe and I’m so glad I did. This place has a range of foods and all looked super yummy. I had sweet and sour cauliflower and my partner had the Gado Gado, both super yummy. And for desert we had the carrot cake. No joke, best carrot cake I’ve ever tried. When you first get there they give you bug spray and a cold towel to keep you comfortable outside and that was a really lovely tough. The price is 100% fair for the experience.

An explosion of taste in a lovely setting - Edit
I loved Peace Cafe! As soon as you arrive in this quiet place by the river, you are greeted by the warm smiles of the waitresses who are always making sure you have everything you need. They bring fresh towels and organic mosquito repellent that you can find on sale at their shop, and light an incense stick under your table. The setting is lovely, as you are surrounded by plants and it’s very relaxing. The menu is long and everything is so tasty! I have eaten here maybe 5 times, so I’ve tried quite a few dishes. Inside, there is the NGO shop with lovely items with a meaning. They also organise cooking and yoga classes and on Mondays and Tuesdays monks they have monks chatting to whoever is curios - so bad I missed this!
Read moreDefinitely worth going. Service is super fast, also considering they make everything fresh and on the spot. Couldn’t recommend more. Thank you!

Top notch. Loved it. - Edit
Really good food. Vegan options (vs vegetarian) are clearly marked and make up the majority of dishes served. Had the Khmer Red Curry, a Banana Leaf Salad, and the Sweet Pumpkin dessert. It’s really rare to find local dishes prepared to be totally vegan, so we were very happy to find this place. While there are many similarities to Thai food, these wonderfully prepared dishes definitely show off the unique local flavors. Would go back in a heartbeat. Seating is outside.

Such lovely staff - Edit
We came here twice and both times were very impressed with the service, the setting and the food. They even have vegan desserts, and they aren’t raw. Unfortunately the monk chats they have weren’t on due to Songkran.

The name 'Peace Cafe' fits this place perfect. It's set in this amazingly zen garden, so it was with disappointment that my only times coming here was on my lunch break when I couldn't sit and relax for too long.

Favourite 3 dishes tonight. Khmer red curry, pomelo salad and Khmer kreung khtis. Superb.
Read moreWe never get bored of Peace Cafe and have eaten there for more than 7 years now.
The menu is all Vegetarian with numerous vegan options. The Khmer Kreung Khtis is a delicious dip, have it with brown rice because the bread is not vegan. Tempura is also a tasty vegan option, as is the range of sushi. Red curry is a fav as are the pumpkin croquettes.
Staff always helpful and friendly and there is a fair trade shop to buy gifts. Relaxed and peaceful garden setting, they have natural repellent to keep the mosquitoes away :-)
Highly recommend.

Real deal khmer food - Edit
I've been there a few times. Coming out always greatly satisfied. Top quality ingridients and a real deal khmer food! I especially fell in love with khmer red curry with sweet potatos. It was just a perfect combination of sweet, sour and spicy! Would highly recommend to anyone. Even though it's a bit further from the main busy area it's a lovely bicycle ride on a proper bike lane. Lovely and honest place.

The best vegan food in Siem Reap - Edit
Of the three (Khmer) dinners we had in Siem Reap, the best food we ate was at the Peace Café, incl. a nice collection of vegan desserts. And it also had a nice outdoor area (albeit with mosquitos, so bring DEET) and staff was friendly.

The best place in Siem Reap - Edit
We especially remember the super friendly staff of the Peace Café. We were always extraordinarily kindly received and competently advised during our numerous visits to the restaurant. Many dishes on the menu are vegan. And every single one of them that we tried was completely convincing. Peace Café is a non-profit venue that focuses on regional Cambodian fair trade products and supports small local artists. In addition to the delicious food, they offer daily cooking classes for $22 per person (all dishes are vegan and you get to take the recipes home), yoga classes for $6 per person, and free language classes. The store also sells many authentic trinkets and souvenirs of all kinds.
Read moreThe Peace Café definitely made our stay in Siem Reap special. If you happen to be in Siem Reap, you must pay the café a visit.
