In a way, I'm glad to see so many rave reviews here, as Pazzi is a place I would like to love.. and I have in the past, but these days there are some doubts. For starters, my mate Erik at Vegan Eats Stockholm has been disappointed a couple of times, I believe ingredients were missing in some pizzas with no information about it provided beforehand.
Read moreIn my experience, and save for an unusually boring pasta dish, the food has generally been up to high standards. My concerns have more to do with how Pazzi portrays itself as a wholesome, slow food type of place, while in reality fails to fully live up to such expectations. First of all, it took some nudging to get cash accepted on my latest visit, even though it was the exact amount. They have previously not objected to it, since such is their policy as per an e-mail confirming it a while back. I truly hope they won't go full-on cash-hostile. Secondly, during a recent dinner with my parents, the restaurant was packed and service chaotic, the manager all the while staring at his computer. I would have expected him to try and take charge, instead of ordering (vegan) mozzarella from Milano, or whatever he was doing. To be fair, once they learned about our dissatisfaction we were given one of the main courses for free. Lastly, Pazzi managed to do two rather objectionable things when I visited them last: the waitress spoke on the phone with the speaker on, as if the sorry last customers weren't worthy of consideration. More importantly, another manager (who I believe runs the hotel in the same premises and not the restaurant) repeatedly went out for a smoke and littered his cigarette butts on the ground, which is not only illegal in Sweden at this point, but both unnecessary and surely not in tune with what Pazzi attempts to stand for.
All in all, I'll give them a second star because their food remains convincing for even those who're not that fond of pizza.. but improvements ought to be made if they want to retain their credibility.

I tried the vegan scampi pizza, it was amazing. There were six vegan pizze on the menu, and two desserts. Couldn't try any dessert though because the only one I liked was sold out.

I liked it here. I ordered a Vegan Scampi Pizza, mostly for the novelty value, because I had never seen vegan scampi. Interesting. Looks-wise 100% on point, taste-wise not bad. The scampi seem to be made from some sort of mushroom and so have a bit of a mushroom feel. As pizzas go, this wasn't a bad one. As always, the cheese wasn't all there. I really do wish there'd be better tasting vegan pizza cheeses, but alas... I'd come here again, though, because the restaurant is nice and the menu has a lot of options. It's a good place if you're looking for a somewhat more upmarket Italian restaurant.

Tasty vegan pizza with very nice bread. Choice of several vegan pizzas and two pasta dishes. The Nduja pizza had a pleasant mix of flavours. The vegan sausage wasn't too bland (as they most often are) and there were some teaspoons of a piquant sauce which really set it off.
Read moreAmbience was cosy and relaxed despite being quite busy. They have big windows looking out on the street, fun to observe the passers-by. Service is friendly and attentive but not too overpowering. They have buttons you can press for service, the bill or a glass of their house beer (press twice to double up!). A fun touch!
Ideal for any type of company or occasion I would say. Will definitely be back!

The service was good and the pizza as well. However I did expect something better specially for the dough. Good thing is they have 5 vegan pizza and some pasta as well, and even vegan desserts. On average I would say is good but I probably wont come back again.

I keep going back to this place, since the pizzas are SO good! I especially recommend the Vegan Verde, but I’ve tried them all at this point😄At the moment they offer five different vegan pizzas, vegan pasta and vegan desserts. Staff is friendly but the service is pretty slow, so be prepared to wait half an hour for your pizza!

Definitely a different experience to the usual pizza restaurants in Sweden, where the thin-crust bottom is the norm. More expensive than other places, but one can understand why.
