Excellent farmer's market - Edit
Excellent farmer's market in South Philly by Acme Supermarket- Passyunk Market
Read moreRun by the Amish. Very friendly people who provide all their produce locally grown. Perhaps some of their produce would be organic certified yet the Amish are on a different paradigm not using electricity and living radically different than where I live in San Francisco where AI was invented and there are driver-less cars. Highly recommended going here to get a wide array of locally grown veggies to cook up some amazing plant based cuisine. One of my grips in Philly was dining out some restaurants were either exclusively vegan or vegan options yet only had junk food vegan vs whole food plant based cuisine. That's where the Passyunk Market in South Philly comes in. Stock up on healthy. The Amish here are very knowledgeable about gardening and cooking so can be sure to steer you in the right direction about how to cook up their delightful produce grown with love! Don't miss the lovely park near the market with trees and benches to contemplate life.
