Currently not paying staff or wholesale accts

This place is currently paychecks behind on paying their own employees and have ghosted all their wholesale accounts that they owe thousands too. They used to not accept tips because they were "different" and now they are changing to lower pay with tips because they cannot afford to pay their employees.
They just stopped their pastry program because they couldn't pay their bakers and HAVENT paid their bakers.
Avoid

Cons: Don't pay employees, Ghost staff, dont know how to run a business

Nothing for us on the weekends

Came in at 7:20, empty pastry cabinet. Was told they’d be out soon, and no vegan options on weekends.

Cute cafe and bar

This cafe and bar had a cute atmosphere and was decorated nicely with a lot of green plants. There were a number of coffee and tea drinks with non dairy milk options, as well as a number of cocktails that are clearly marked when they contain dairy or other non vegan ingredients. They care about allergens and are very knowledgeable; all coffee/tea syrups are vegan and allergen friendly. They also seem like a super caring company - they have a community card to help pay for food or coffee for those who can't afford it 🥰

The latte I had was a little pricey at $9, but was very good and had a beautiful design! My only complaint is that they don't have vegan pastries - they noted that they previously carried them but no longer do, though they are trying to find a way to make them in house in order to offer them again.
