Tasty Korean food - Edit
Lots of vegan options, I tried the dumplings, tofu bao and the plant based chicken (better than kkappungi). The dumplings were great, the bao could’ve done with some sauce other than just mayo in it but the plant based chicken was very tasty in a lovely sauce and the portion was very large and filling.

They do have vegan "options" - Edit
Panda's menu has a small section of explicitly vegetarian & vegan dishes. I tried the tofu udon. It was covered in lots of goopy, sugary sauce that tasted a bit off, like maybe there was fish sauce? I'm not sure. There was a bit of bok choy and some green onion, nothing else in the way of vegetables.
Read moreMy friend got the bibimbap and that looked better (although she said it was made with arborio rice, which was kinda funny but not too surprising).
No banchan were provided or even on the menu.
I asked about the kimchi dishes (which weren't on the veg*n section) and the waiter said there was fish flavoring but no actual fish.

Vegan options are limited in Catania. So we were more than happy to finde a restaurant with a vegan menu. The kimchi was delicious, vegan ' chicken ' tenders too. Absolutely gorgeous staff ❤️❤️❤️

Best to stick to the vegan options - Edit
I liked the food here, but as if I was cursed by the eating out Gods, for the second night in a row eating out, somebody mucked up our order and we were left waiting for our food.
Read moreWe ordered the tteokbokki spicy rice cakes (not listed vegan on the menu but can be made vegan according to the staff) and it came with what looked like half a boiled egg. The waiter didn't know if it was vegan or not and took it back. There was confusion amongst the staff even though the guy who took the order wrote 'vegan'. Another staff member who said he was vegan said it might have been Vegg but wasn't sure. The staff didn't really know what was going on in the kitchen and didn't seem to want to find out. When we did get a replacement meal, it came with all but one of the fixings removed. We paid €13 for this small and incomplete dish. The tofu bao bun (delicious) was also small but overpriced at €8.
The crunchy vegan chicken in sweet sauce was the best thing on the menu (and reasonably priced) as was the kimchi pancake.
The staff say they can veganize most dishes, but if it means removing items without substitutes, it's certainly not worth it. Better communication is needed between the kitchen and wait staff, especially regarding their vegan clients.

Tutto buonissimo - Edit
Le opzioni vegane sul menù erano ottime. Abbiamo provato i dumplings, il bao bun, il tofu bibimbap senza uovo e i noodles senza uovo. Porzioni buone e tutto delizioso.

Food is alright / Waiter(s) are amazing - Edit
I wouldn't say that the food is the best in Catania, you have plenty of other options, but the waiter was so nice that for me it is a must visit. There is a couple of vegan options, and the dumplings are really good. The bibimbap could've been a little more spiced up, but you cam always ask for more sauce. The waiter, as mentioned, is just the cutest inner city charming boy! He was very helpful and nice, and uplifting. So it stays a recommendation for me.

Didn’t disappoint - Edit
The service was good, we took a while to order and the lady who took our order didn’t make a fuss, on the contrary she was polite and said she’d give us more time. There aren’t many vegan options, please remember to inform them no eggs. I didn’t have an issue, it was precautionary.
