Several options, nice staff - Edit
Very good central location and easy to accomodate both vegan and meat-eaters. Nice waiter also informed me that the complimentary chocolate was vegan. Vegan meat could have been saltier.

Read moreIt being our first trip to Bologna (and Italy) we were slightly nervous about the availability and quality of vegan options in the city, but ‘Pan8’ made us feel comforted - AND satisfied!!
The venue was picturesque in a quiet, historic-looking street, and very clearly advertised their vegan offering.
The vegan food offering was extremely good, with various paninis available with a host of unique fillings. Myself and my girlfriend went for a ‘Plate’ each - a great decision! An authentically presented combo of hot baked bread, vegan meat slices, sauces and fillings, which you could construct to your heart’s desire. I’d highly recommend swapping in (or adding on) the ginger and pear sauce - it was so yummy!
The service was fab - the waiter’s spoke great English and made us feel at home. And I thought the price was fair at €16 per plate.
Once again, we were so excited to find ‘Pan8’ and their Italian-esque vegan grub, and we’d say it’s a must to go try!

Good to find somewhere that has a couple of vegan options in Bologna. I got the brisa vegan panini, which was ok. The bread wasn’t the freshest, but the meat alternative was tasty. Overall the sandwich was a bit salty, but it was still worth checking out for a quick lunch bite.

I found the bread and its filling slightly too salty for my taste. I think this was because of the sun-dried tomatoes and olive tapenade which are already very salty by themselves. I also tried the vegan carpaccio and soy cream cheese on the side. The carpaccio was a little bit flavourless, but the soy cream cheese was really nice. They have 4 bread options and a lot of sides, so maybe the other options would’ve been better for me.

We really enjoyed our lunch here, not a vegan restaurant but it has several delicious options clearly labeled on the menu. We had the vegan platter and a sandwich and both were amazing!! The location is also great and the waiters were friendly and spoke a decent amount of English. The only con was the cover charge which was quite high, we paid nearly 5 euros for it.

This place made me so happy! I want to give it 5 stars but sadly it does meat too so I've removed a star for that reason only. However! The vegan charcuterie is pretty special and all the little deli bits and pieces are absolutely delicious and only 1 euro a pop - probably be charged 3 times that in the UK for a lesser product. Had a toasted sando the next day filled with all my favourite things from the charcuterie the day before. So so good!

We never would have guessed that this tiny butcher like place offers such an outstanding vegan options. We ordered the vegan plate with some additional choosable items and were blown away. It was actually my first time trying vegan prosciutto and must say it is very near the original if I remember well. All products are homemade and really tasty. We got to talk to the owner about their family business and learned that he was a vegetarian himself. The place has outside seating, reasonable prices and great wine too.

I was hesitant to eat here because I’m not a huge fake meat person but I’m so glad I did! It’s very centrally located and the vegan options are clearly labeled. I went on a Sunday for lunch and while it was full, I was seated fairly quickly. I did the create your own and chose both vegan meats, olive spread, sundried tomatoes, eggplant, and artichoke- SO good. The portions were bigger than expected so you could definitely just choose 1 meat and 1 veggie for the create your own sandwich. If I was in bologna longer I would definitely come back
