vegan options for dinner - Edit
A few vegan items on the menu but burger came with coleslaw so need to specify no mayonnaise. Few pastas seem vegan (if the pasta is not egg pasta).

I love that they had a separate vegan menu. Whilst not plentiful it instantly made us feel at ease. The restaurant overlooks the sea and looks gorgeous. Really calm and nice service.
Read moreWe had the burger and the lentil medallions. With a bit of the chilli sauce and ketchup there was enough flavour. Was really nice to have some protein in the meal.
Unfortunately you'll be hard pressed to find vegan desserts here and this restaurant is no different but we were satisfied enough after our meal.
It is on the pricier side but we felt it was worth it for the style of the restaurant.

I had the Escondidinho which were basically just two very thick layers of cassava with five small slices of mushroom in-between and some weird tasting fried spinach. I would not go back. I heard the burger was alright though.

Nice veggie burger - Edit
I first went next door to (another) Italian joint and despite the leaf labels on many of the dishes, everything was either not vegetarian or had cheese in it. Settled on Osteria n3 based on a review on here. It did not disappoint. The patty was great with great overall flavor. It's always good when you can see the lentils and other ingredients in the patty.

Pros: Worth the price, Sweet potato chips were a nice touch
Cons: A little expensive for Praia (see the pros above), Could be more obvious if you can seat yourself

Good news: Vegetarian Lasagna was actually Vegan! Bad News: it was just floury lasagna sheets piled up with sliced carrots and zucchini. No seasoning, no flavor, not even salt.
