When you need a good, easy burger this is a great option. Plenty of options including beefy and chickn burgers (or a single mushroom one), wraps and chickn tenders. We enjoyed the Big VG (delicious garlic mayo and pickled onions), the BBQ Cluckin Sandwich, the Big Oowee, the Other Side Chick and the Big Bacon Swiss burgers as meals with fries and a drink. The milkshakes are super thick and creamy too.

A triumphant return to Oowee Vegan! - Edit
This was our second visit to Oowee Vegan, the first being five years ago during lockdown, when we tucked into our takeaway in a van parked just around the corner. Fast forward to today, and the magic is still very much alive.
Read moreWe ordered the Spicy Flirt—an Impossible beef patty layered with grilled halloumi, chilli jam, and gherkins—and the BBQ Smokestack, stacked with BBQ sauce, American cheese, onion rings, gherkins, lettuce, and added a glorious hash brown. Both were made into meals with crispy fries and a can of soda, and we couldn’t resist adding chilli cheese nuggets and chick’n tenders on the side.
Every bite was a reminder of why Oowee Vegan is in a league of its own. The chick’n and cheese are so impressively realistic, it’s hard to believe they’re plant-based. The flavours are bold, indulgent, and deeply satisfying.
Oowee Vegan continues to set the bar for vegan fast food. We’ll be back every time we’re in Bristol—no question.

Great burgers & mac n cheese. The hot sauce isn't playing games, it was so good! I took 4 non vegans with me.. they didn't miss the meat. Impossible always a winning alternative. Staff were friendly.

Oowee Vegan Baldwin was exceptional..
The menu was so comprehensive and inclusive.
I enjoyed "the big bacon cheese" with and impossible patty, bacon, American cheese, baconaise -hold the gherkins.
This was a delicious "sometimes" Burger.
Definitely no pillar of health however a wonderful cheat meal.
As a side Ioved the small portion of the bacon Mac n cheese.
I can't fault the flavors of anything here.

If anyone remembers the chilli cheese bites from mcdonalds you'll love the ones from Oowee, they exceed them and are very moreish.
We travelled from north Shropshire and this was the first food place we visited.

Lots of options it was hard to choose! Ended up going for the bacon mac n cheese and the limited edition chorizo chicken dirty fries - both delicious! In fact possibly the best mac n cheese I’ve ever had. Also had the idea milkshake which was so so so good

Nice place if you are graving some junk food! I tried their Mac'n'Cheese and chicken tenders. Both delicious but surely not very healthy. Still, absolutely worth a try.

We enjoyed their chicken and beef burgers with grid fries on the side. Unfortunately the ice and milkshake machine was broken (the McDonalds phenomenon) so we couldn't try them, which was why we went here in the first place.

So many tasty options, it’s hard to choose what to have! Beef/chicken style burgers, loaded fries, wraps, mac & cheese, lots of side/add on options. I wouldn't say it is that comfortable and isn't the place I'd go to if looking for a proper sit down meal, but if looking for some naughty fast food then it's perfect, or great for takeaway. It is quite pricey which we expected but will come as a suprise if youre expecting "fast food" prices. Overall we left full and happy, and needed a walk after!

Read moreMacaroni cheese is always awesome, there's all sorts of burgers with meal deals available.
The portion sizes reflect the price.
They release limited edition tastiness regularly, so often something new to try and have deals via email sometimes which is massively appreciated!
The place is super easy to find and there's a fair amount of space inside to sit. Castle park is a green space just around the corner for taking away outdoors!
My only criticism is there's unfortunately no toilet inside.

Delicious chicken burger and cauli bites. It’s a shame there aren’t any tables for four to sit with a back. It was a bit noisy too which was not great when we have brought omnivore in laws. Good was delish though.

Got the spicy wrap, mac and cheese, and biscoff milkshake. The service was super fast and my food was great. I absolutely loved the biscoff shake! Will be back for more items on the menu!
