I will say I throughly enjoyed everything I had here. But having eaten at Millennium, Shizen & other high priced places I would the price point of the food here is probably the highest in town.
Read more$15 per drink or very very small plate of food…which you’ll probably gonna want 3-4 of if you are hungry. Probably plan on spending at least $75 tip per person.
Food is delicious but not sure if I’d return. Especially because my previous experience with this food were the pop ups at Animal Place Vegan Republic in Berkeley spending no more than $25

Wow. What a treat. Visited on Taco Tuesday and had the taco combo plate. Each taco was completely unique and very flavorful. The hot sauce that accompanied the tacos was perfect.

Quite possibly the best tacos I have had in my life! Came for Taco Tuesday. I am a big eater and three were enough for me. At $4 each these are a STEAL. And great drinks AND a good ambiance to boot. Easily one of my new favorite spots on the city.

The menu here is very inventive. I've only been once, but was quite happy. I had the chick'n paella which I thought was yummy, though for $23, the portion was very small. My non vegan friend got the potato cheese gratin with crispy mushrooms and said it was very good. Another (non-vegan) friend got the crab cakes and said they tasted just like regular crab cakes.

We had a few small dishes and each one would probably get a different star rating. The flautas were filled with a very plain mushroom chorizo, but the salsas were excellent. The crab cakes were excessively starchy and didn’t taste like much. The cheese board was wonderful, with the exception of a seed salsa that was quite salty on its own, and inedibly salty when served on a thick slice of Violife parmesan. I’m excited to come back, but it’ll be to order all different things.

We were trying to get into a nearby vegan restaurant, but there was a problem with our reservation, we had passed this place on the way to the other restaurant. When turned away, we backtracked & came to Om Sabor. What are the chances of literally stumbling into a fully vegan restaurant & bar? While looking at the menu we noticed what seemed like vegan options, we read the fine print saying everything was 100% plant-based!! 🥰 Thrilled, we ordered wine, the Chorizo Flautas (with king oyster trumpet mushrooms) and their house-made Chik'n Wings (with an ah-mazing chile arbol BBQ sauce). Both were outstanding in taste & beautiful presentation. We sat in the bar area for our quick bites, but we will be back for the full dining experience & menu in their restaurant area. Our server (Ashley) was so sweet & attentive and genuinely jazzed to be working there! She also told us that the menu changes often, so we can keep going back and have a different dining experience each time! Definitely add this to your MUST try list. Their prices are great too!

I’ve been to 3 of their dinner pop ups and 3 of their event pop ups (veg fests, wine bar, etc.) & one of their home-made tamale deliveries. I originally found them through Feastly. The food Om Sabor prepares is of the highest quality, original, different (their Indian Mexican fusion was wild!) and delicious. Their events are appropriately priced. This couple, Dhanista and Luis, is very committed to please. When I’ve notified them in advance of needing my vegan meal gluten-free and SOS-free (no salt, oil or sugar), they’ve been able to accommodate me. This means so much to me that they care and are willing to go the extra mile to please their clients.

Taco Tuesday: Cancer the Crab Celebration dinner was a hit, starting off with a Hibiscus margarita, then a hibiscus flower taco, a crispy potato cauliflower pakora taco, a delicious asian taco "porkbelly" style, then a Chile relleno inside a taco with rice and epazote beans, and a crispy jackfruit taco finishing off with a tres leches cake topped with nectarines and a Hibiscus sauce with a bunch of pretty flowers. The salsas were great especially chef Luis's mother seed salsa, the venue was wonderful and a fun crowd 😉
