Can’t say enough about this place. Super fresh, super healthy, amazing staff, great vibe. It’s elevated but comfortable and I would say priced very very well for what you are getting.

A must visit - Edit
Visited their pop up in the harborplace pavilion first but so glad they have a full space and kitchen now. Sandwiches: messy and delicious. Pizzas: great crust and house made toppings. Smoked eggplant wasn’t something I knew I needed to have but it was amazing. Desserts: perfection. So many amazing choices that it’s perfect for a group if you’re into sharing plates and everyone getting something different. (Or find your favorite and keep it all to yourself, no judgement)

Amazing food amazing people - Edit
My husband is in a wheelchair and we didn’t know the entrance had steps. But a couple that was also camping for brunch and one of the employees helped and we got in without an issue. Brunch was so tasty. Cinnamon roll, scramble tofu and hand over pizza. YUM. We had ordered takeout a few times in the past but it was nice to enjoy their new location.

Easily the best vegan restaurant around, has me seriously considering moving back to bmore!! Service is top tier, all staff and the owner were so friendly, even on their very busy last day in the harborplace location. This is definitely the best brunch I’ve ever had, we ordered a ton and everything was tasty!

AYFKM it’s unbelievably good - Edit
Came for brunch. Wish I was in town longer because I want to try everything on all their menus. Everything is had was amazing beyond expectation. Tofu scramble was NOT ordinary, it was full of intricate flavor and carefully constructed textures. Bloody Mary was excellent, latte perfect. The scramble portion was a full meal and yet I still had order the ravioli bravas just to try them. They’re unreal, get them. The place is cute and everyone in it super friendly. Honestly I’d say this is one of the best vegan restaurants in the country, definitely for the price point. It would easily fit in with the best in Los Angeles and New York City; Baltimore is lucky to have Oleum.

Home Run - Edit
The Baltimore vegan scene will see me again. Oleum hit it out of the park; and with their new location in Fells Point this June, a home run has been scored.

Be prepared to make hard decisions! - Edit
There was nothing on the menu we wouldn't have like to try which is great but also difficult to make a decision. We settled on sharing the dolmas & mezze (included toum, muhammara, and two types of hummus with four flatbreads). Everything is made fresh to order, to the point the flatbread is still warm when they bring it out. Amazing stuff.

Delicious whole food plant based dishes & drinks that keep us returning for more! Outstanding flavors, generous platings of nutritious, seasonal food. Great service (love Bean!). Fantastic - Edit
I went there for the first time last weekend and it was incredible. The pesto panini was the best vegan sandwich I’ve ever had. The pizza was extremely good also. They know how to use vegan cheese sparingly for best effect.

Vegan haven in Baltimore - Edit

Delicious Comfort Food - Edit
Oleum is located in Baltimore’s Inner Harbor so it is a bit pricey. The restaurant makes the best of the space it has by using privacy screens to keep the tables separate from the mall corridor. Vegans who are used to making do might feel overwhelmed by all the choices on the strictly plant-based menu. I really enjoyed the spicy Italian sandwich and my omnivore parents relished their food, the wedge salad paired with potato soup and pesto pasta with basil and tomato.

Amazing vegan food - Edit
Incredible food and committed to veganism. Feels impressively fancy especially given their somewhat awkward location right now in the old mall. The mains are all very solid, with big portions and creative menu options, but the desserts are the highlight! Do not miss the tiramisu!

The Best! - Edit
An altogether fabulous experience--the food, the staff, the ambience! I especially appreciated that everything is made from scratch onsite. I find most restaurant food to be excessively oily and salty, but the soup and salad that I ordered were delicately spiced and satisfying without weighing me down. Also, there were many gluten-free options. Will definitely return!

I had their calzone, the one that has pesto, just delicious! I also had a few of their lattes over the few days I was in the area. So much fun trying different flavored lattes. Now anytime I go to Baltimore, this is a must!

No flavor - Edit
I was very disappointed by this experience. I ordered the vodka pasta and the Alfredo and both were absolutely flavorless. We asked if they had seasonings…. They did not. Sad to have wasted so much money on food I could’ve made better if I had made it myself. The staff was nice but I would not recommend coming here.

Great for vegans and friends - Edit
Was happy to find Oleum on Happy Cow — would never suspect such a gem is inside this mall-like building. It is super close to the convention center and Inner Harbor hotels. The food was delicious and is the type of food that non-vegan friends will enjoy. The Cannellini Tapa was rich, hearty, and delicious and could be a meal itself for lunch with the accompanying flatbread. The Mushroom &Leek Risotto had layers of great flavors. The small plate is more than enough if you had an app. The dessert menu is a goldmine for vegans! The owner was there and was on top of things, making sure her team was tending to tables and properly preparing and presenting plates. Very friendly and chatty.

I would marry Oleum - Edit
Oleum
Read moreI texted at least five people about Oleum. It was probably the best meal I’ve ever had. The flavor, quality of ingredients, freshness, service, everything was top notch.
There were so many things we wanted to try on the menu, we agreed to come back before we even experienced the food.
Our server Benu was so personable and had the best recommendations. He and the chef made accommodations to my allergies without making sacrifices to flavor. He informed us we could do half and half on pizzas and the two flavors he recommended (Toum Raider & Firestarter) were out of this world delicious. Benu was so attentive, he seemed destined to make sure we had a great experience. We were so appreciative of him! The chef also came out and introduced herself after we ate our pizza and she was so sweet and interested in our opinions. Of course we had nothing to offer except that it was perfect. I was interested to learned she was a midwesterner, like myself.
We started the meal with two lattes. I had a raspberry latte that reminded me of everything valentines day, and my husband who ordered a plain latte got talked into the cookie butter latte and raved about it. No regrets (thank you Benu).
Next we had the ravioli which was definitely fresh pasta and I liked that it was pan fried on the bottom. The flavors were refreshing.
The toum raider had the most amazing cheese I’ve ever had, the kale was fresh and crisp (I’ve never even liked kale) and the garlic was so tasty. The firestarter had spicy Calabrian chilis (but Benu kept our water full constantly) and a delicious italian sausage. At this point we are way past full. But after seeing how talented the chef was I definitely had to have dessert.
Neither of us have ever liked tiramisu but we trusted Benu and we are so glad we did. Drop everything you know about the freezer burned tiramisu that most restaurants serve and you will be in for a treat.
I don’t have one complaint. The packaging and items used during service seemed environmentally conscious, the restaurant is right on the water and the inside is so charmingly designed. I had even messaged Oleum and they gave me advice on where to park (came from out of state to see them). I grabbed parking for $3 and it was a 5 minute walk. I hope to visit many, many times. Thank you so much!
Pros: Amazing taste, Great service, 100% vegan

Super friendly staff! The food is all vegan and amazing! I tried the Toum raider pizza which was phenomenal. The carrot cake was also delicious! I had the rose cardamom chai - which had a very weak flavour and wouldn’t have that again. All the menu looked incredible and I can’t wait to go back to try more!!! Perfectly situated at the harbour.
