One of the best meals I’ve ever eaten - Edit
I am almost speechless at how delicious this place is. Every single item we got was so carefully crafted and unique - I had never had vegan burrata, carbonara, or cacio e pepe in my 11 years of being vegan. The vegan creme brûlée also was from a dream! The space is small and intimate and everything is crafted with love.

even better than expected! - Edit
Massive vegan menu, so many different pizzas (all of which can be made into calzones), pasta dishes, plus desserts and starters! We had the pepperoni and vegan cheese calzone, and the vegan salmon(!) creamy penne pasta. Wonderful food. Plus a lovely ambience and friendly staff, and very fair prices. We had the crème brulé which we weren't so fond of, so we'd try vegan cheesecake or dessert pizza next time!

Nice food, slow service - Edit
We had two create your own vegan pizzas which were lovely. A good size for the price and had a lot of toppings. However service was very slow and we never got our drinks we ordered, so a good place if you have lots of time. There was not a particularly great choice of vegan desserts, but lots of pizza and pastas to choose from with vegan meat, cheese and cream options.

Range of vegan pizzas like you've never seen before. We would've had a few each if possible! Lots of calzones and a few deserts too. Nice, cozy place, really good food!

Amazing vegan food - Edit
Novapizza is a small but cute and cosy restaurant in Edinburgh. The menu has an extremely wide choice of vegan options, I litterally would have tried everything if I could. The vegan 4-cheese and mushroom pizza was mind-blowing, outstanding... so so delicious! Same can be said of the peanut butter and jelly and the chocolate cheescakes. Book in advance cause it is quite small but super busy.

Worth getting round too - Edit
I'd been meaning to come to this place for a while but it's fairly busy so whenever I'd popped in it had been a struggle to get a table. It's small and busy but does tasty pizza. Has a large vegan selection and I found it difficult to choose. A friend and I shared two pizzas and they were both very tasty. I'd go back if I was in that area and in need of a pizza feast.

Yummy pizza - Edit
Very extensive vegan menu. Not used to having so much choice! We had a lunch on a Sunday. Service was friendly and speedy. And the pizza was soooo good. Could have happily ordered several menu items. I had a pepperoni pizza and it was great. Thin crust and the cheese was very flavoursome! Would definitely recommend a visit.

Hands down the best pizza! - Edit
Wow what a great find! This intimate little pizza place is not small on amazing flavor! We ordered the vegan pizza with seitan (probably the best vegan pizza I have ever had) the salmon gnocchi and the bruschetta with salami. Everything was out of this world. It was so fun to find some unique items on the menu like vegan salmon. It took us a long time to decide because there are SO MANY options. The service was impeccable!! If you are in Edinbrugh, this is a must stop!

Wow, huge range of vegan options! I got the four cheese bruschetta and the pepperoni pizza (delivered). They were both really delicious.

the place that everyone wants as their local - Edit
It's like a proper Italian local trattoria but all veggie and vegan. Huge menu and you will be spoilt for choice with the usual pizza v pasta dilemma. Several pages dedicated to vegan options. It isn't a huge place so I recommend you book. Takeaway also an option. Very efficient and pleasant staff and you could glimpse how hard the kitchen were working. I had two different vegan pasta dishes that were great with some nice red wine and garlic bread and the pizzas looks great too. Lovely vegan coffee cheesecake. If you visit Edinburgh you must come and support this attractive little restaurant in the new town with cobbled streets out front.

AMAZING - Edit
My boyfriend and I went for dinner - we each had a vegan calzone, the size of a mountain and they were absolutely amazing (the vegan calzone and the spicy one, we can't remember the name). We also had the oreo cheescake for desert and it was honestly mindblowing. Would 200% recommend for vegans (and veggies) as there is SO MUCH CHOICE. Will definitely be visiting back soon!!!!

Wirklich gute vegane Pizza - Edit
Kleiner gemütlicher Italiener in recht zentraler Lage (Reservierung empfohlen, v.a. abends). Sehr leckere vegane Pizza, vegetarische Variante auch sehr gut. Gutes Kindermenü, Ausmalbild und Stifte, absolut familientauglich. Nette Weine, schöne Dessertauswahl.

Good for groups of friends or just couples the food is tasty and served in warm and friendly surroundings. Amazing italian food with a vegan twist - Edit
I only stumbled upon this restaurant by chance but was so happy to have found it. It is a very small restaurant with about 6 tables (if I remember correctly) so booking ahead is recommended if wanting to dine-in. They offer a big vegan menu that doesn´t only include vegan pizza but also great pasta dishes, lasagnas as well as a great selection of vegan desserts. It was VERY difficult for me to choose amongst all the great things on the menu. I ended up choosing the vegan lasagna and had a great vegan oreo cheesecake for dessert. Everything as absolutely amazing and I am hoping to go back to Edinburgh again soon to eat my way through the rest of the menu. Would highly recommend

Great vegan pizzas - Edit
This restaurant is located in the Edinburgh City Centre, near to the famous Princess Street. It offers various vegetarian and vegan options of pizza and pasta. Almost all of them can be gluten-free. I need to say that I ate there the best vegan pizza in my whole life. . The cheesecake of peanut butter is also a must try. As the restaurant is small, if you intend to go in a busy time, you need to book before.

I've died and gone to heaven! - Edit
Really cute Italian vegetarian place that has a huge vegan section in their menu - about the last half of the menu is all vegan, with a wide range of vegan pizzas, pastas, calzones lasagna, gnocchi and heaps more! Very rare to have so many creamy vegan dishes or so many vegan options generally with Italian food.
Read moreI ordered the Quattro fomargio pasta with mushrooms, which was absolutely superb! It had soy cream, vegan blue cheese, parmesian and mozzarella. I've never had a creamy pasta with 4 vegan cheeses before - it was absolutely incredible and there were good size portions.
My partner got the basil pesto and potato pizza which he loved. Very nice flavors and was nice and light.
This place is quite small and tends to get busy, so it is worth booking ahead. We managed to get a table even though we hadn't booked, but that was at about 5.30 - a bunch of people showed up after us and couldn't get a table - and that was on a weeknight!
Pros: Huge vegan menu, Heaps of creamy vegan options

Favourite restaurant in Edinburgh! - Edit
I studied in Edinburgh many moons ago (happy days!), and made a pilgrimage back with my best buddy (also a vegan) to visit this restaurant. Boy o boy, it was worth the trek!!!! Really cute bistro with lots of vegan dishes available. We had pasta for mains with a side of pizza (we were hungry!) and hoovered up every morsel. Cannot wait to return... a special little place.

Best pizza - Edit
What a cute little restaurant! I really liked the atmosphere, and the food was delicious. I ordered the 'vegan' vegan pizza with added quorn pieces, it was the best vegan pizza I've had, really yum. My friend had the veggie spaghetti bolognese and enjoyed it. The desserts looked tasty too but we were far too full. I'd definitely recommend it.
