So much more than a juice bar - Edit
We thought we'd enjoy a smoothie, which we did. But the cheesesteak blew us away! You have to try it!
Read moreOne of us doesn't like mushrooms but reluctantly agreed to split a chicken (from mushrooms) sandwich, and she loved it!!! Everything good so far... Looking forward to returning soon.
Pros: Friendly owner, Amazing food, Clean and welcoming
Cons: Hard to decide so just eat the menu in order, Makes you want to return too often, Music too loud for a quiet work meeting😉

Yummy vegan comfort food - Edit
You order at a counter just past is a little shop they have set up near the entrance. A while later, the dishes are delivered to your table. I was with a group of 6 friends, and we all received our meals at different times. We ordered a large variety, so we shared. Very tasty. And very filling. Everyone enjoyed the food and the place. Nothing fancy, but comfortable enough to hang out together for a long while, eating and talking.

Nourish not only has the best vegan cheese steak but a variety of plant based protein options. Examples: tacos 🌮, nori warps and more.

Grease Bomb! - Edit
I had the Vegan Chick’n platter. The inside were really tough mushrooms (Inoki?). If you tried to cut or bite into it the entire thing came out of the deep fried crust. The crust was tasty as “comfort food” but way too greasy for me. The sides of Mac n Cheez and kale were excellent, though. We also had the meatball sub which had fairly tasteless balls which were, you guessed it, deep fried.

The people were all really nice and I would like to support all vegan businesses but I don’t think we will be coming back.
Pros: Atmosphere, People
Cons: Toooooo greasy

Birthday in Philly - Edit
It was my Birthday and I happened to be out of state. Nourish was a mere 5 minute drive away. Instead of visiting I had my order delivered. The food did not disappoint. Their cheesesteak, that philly jawn, was a god-tier sandwich. Definitely a must have. However I went for the Chik'un platter first. The texture and flavors on the chik'un were amazing. The mac&cheese was good. The kale... it wasn't bad per se. I expected it to be cooked until wilted down. This was more of like a springy fresh kale. It wasn't bitter or tough which is good, but as a personal preference i prefer my kale wilted. Overall the food was amazing. My "slice" of carrot cake was huge. I got to share it with 2 others so that is a blessing.

100% vegan, really delicious! 5 stars! - Edit
This restaurant is 100% vegan, confirmed by the manager and workers. Food was just amazing-- affordable, low key amazing Jamaican vegan food! Mac and cheese was just okay. Tacos were AMAZING, best in Philly-- as attested by my Mexican fiance. Also the plantain curry was incredible, as was the "no-tail" and the alfredo chickpeas. But the Mac and cheese was meh and the quinoa was undercooked.

Best for the clean vegan. Whole food ingredients with the same taste if not better than the vegan "junk" food. Can't go wrong here.

Never had a bad meal at Nourish! Literally everything I’ve tried on the menu has been amazing! Missed eating here for the few months they were closed to re-locate, and now they’re back and even better than ever! Didn’t even think that was possible, but somehow they did it! Highly recommend if you’re in Philly!

Not one of my usual hangouts until today... - Edit
The food was great. The amount of food for the price was at least as good if not better than some other vegan places. The staff was helpful and provided good service. The only thing I did not like was the hybrid type of service provided. You seat yourself, look over the menu, order at the front desk (cashier) and then they bring your food out to you. I would prefer just having a server. I have only been there once but had the opportunity to try 11 different food items- all of them were great. They also have a large variety of cake-like desserts.

Cons: street parking can be tough to find, the hybrid service

Everything was delicious. Got the combo plate where you select your own things, and everything was awesome - Mac n cheese, curry plantains, veggie black rice, and teriyaki "chicken". My husband loved the mushroom fried "chicken". Will definitely come back!

The salad was delicious! - Edit
If you’re looking for a different salad that has a lot of delicious tasting items, look no further. I did not try their array of fried foods, but I did get the Royal Raw. That salad is very large and can be 2 meals for the price. My favorite part was the beet seaweed salad. The cafe is also super chill and cute inside. Nice place to stop, will return!
