Perfect! - Edit
This restaurant is perfect, I wish all vegan restaurants were like Mama’s! The food is so incredible and delicious, even an omnivore could enjoy their completely vegan menu and not miss the meat or dairy. I am so thoroughly impressed after having dinner here! Not only was the staff incredibly sweet and welcoming, but it’s also a very cozy spot to have dinner and enjoy some wonderful food. I can’t wait to go back and try more of the menu!

Traveling for work and fortunately Happy Cow has me covered.
Read moreAfter reading the reviews, I decided it was worth the quick Uber trip.
The place is quite large in size, but the tables are distanced from each other. They do have a few small tables outside, but I opted for indoor dining.
This place is considered a Caribbean influenced vegan restaurant. They have so many great options! You can get a more plant based option, or you can get items that are more geared towards ‘junk food vegans’. It literally has it all.
They also have fresh juices and pastries.
I ordered the cheesesteak bomb and it was amazing. The bun, the flavors, all of it - amazing. I opted for the salad for my side and the dressing it was tossed with was perfection.
This is one of those places you are sad once the food is gone.
Pros: Tons of vegan dishes, Great atmosphere , Fresh juices and items made on premises
Cons: None!

Absolutely mind blowingly Flavorful vegan Food - Edit
I got a fried jerk jackfruit taco. In a fried corn shell. Extremely flavorful and filling. Not greasy. The sauce was very mild and subtle. Tastes better than regular food. It had 3 distinct layers of flavor. One of the best tacos of my life. And the fried jackfruit is so good you could eat it on its own and be delighted.

Amazed!! - Edit
This place is so quaint and adorable!! They said they are 100% vegan and even offer vegan cooking courses at some point in the week. The food is scary good. They have an abundance of options, from burgers to tacos to vegan gelato. They are a little pricey, but between the service provided and the quality of the food it is worth it.

WOW! - Edit
Pure Vegan restaurants are hard to find but this gem has become our new favorite! We’ve never had Ackee before but the Ackeelicious Tacos made a fan out of my wife. What’s Ackee you ask? This fruit we prepared for the tacos had a texture of scrambled eggs, but was way better tasting. The taco shell was fresh and flavorful, and the toppings were perfect. I had the Dominican Chimi Burger and it was bursting with flavor. Extra napkins required!

This dish, VIP House Rice Meal is absolutely delicious! Organic dehydrated sunflower seeds made to look and taste like ground beef, tostones, salad and rice with veggies accompanied by a side of plantains sautéed with pineapple. Portion size is ridiculously huge! For dessert we had a peanut butter pie and a chocolate coconut pie, both were to die for and gluten-free. Family run business and extremely sweet and friendly. This place is wonderful and I highly recommend! It’s my new favorite place! ❤️😋🌱

Flavorful Tacos! - Edit
I can’t believe I’ve been missing out all this time! Everything I tried was flavorful and delicious... you can tell love was put into this food! I had the ropa vieja taco and oyster mushroom calamari.

A real gem - Edit
This is real comfort food with the Dominican flair. All kinds of savory dishes with mock meats but not too processed. Lots of fried food however, but it’s worth it. Lots of smoothies and desserts. Portions are big which justifies the prices. It’s a wonderful family business and you can tell they are working hard, always with a smile. As a local, I’m definitely going to work it into my regular routine !

I wanted to love this place! The appetizer (jack chicken!) was amazing- we loved the house mayo! But after my entre I felt so sick, my boyfriend thought it might be all the fried food? Either way really good options, BIG portions, and everyone was very friendly!

If you want vegan food with real flavors this is the spot - Edit
This is my fav vegan restaurant. I eat here 3 -4 times per week...price is right for the portions i get and its all clean. Lots of organic items, they have such a wide variety of different fruits and veggies they work with to make Chicharron (Fried Rinds), Ground Beef from sunflowers, Chicken from Jackfruit, Calamary from Oyster mushrooms, chicken nuggets from cauliflower, they use ackee the fruit to make their egg scramble, i know the menu by hard...they also do have the Beyond Meat for a burger /steak and the Beyond sausage besides that everything else is made from scratch...im in love with this place.

not bad - Edit
my family and i tried this spot the other day. it wasn’t bad— honestly i was on the fence about 3 vs 4 stars. you can tell it’s a small family place— which is great but we were all disappointed by the processed items. it might be a for a lot of vegans, but we def. try to avoid the fake meats, butters, cheeses, etc. we like to keep food real. i was hoping since it was a caribbean based place that the focus would be on the veg rice flavors more. i ordered what i thought would be the cleanest item on the menu, but even the mashed potatoes had vegan cheese in it. again, this might be a perk for some, but we’d prefer otherwise.

Cool concept - Edit
I brought my family here hoping I can get good organic raw food options but it wasn’t great. My family enjoyed their vegan meals but it was not healthy at all. They have a lot of junk vegan food. Great for people transitioning especially Hispanics that miss their home cooked meals and want vegan versions.
