Prefer it to Sage - Edit
We order Thai takeaway with friends about once a week, our number one favorite place to order from of course is May Kaidee, a splurge but worth it $$! Our regular go to place for years has been Sage but we decided to try Nora based on Happy Cow reviews and we have a new go to!
Read moreWe liked that they have a separate vegan menu, everything we ordered was quite tasty dumplings, larb, pad thai, ginger tofu, red curry, the spring rolls were the weakest part of the meal, they were just fine, they'll do the trick if you're craving something crunchy. Stand outs for me were the larb, red curry and pad thai with peanut sauce.

Just ok - Edit
Very vegan friendly and a lovely interior, but the food in my opinion was just ok. I tried the vegan curry puffs, Japanese eggplant, and a bit of my friend's green curry and while they were all fine, I wasn't particularly impressed

Our new go-to Thai spot in BBurg - Edit
Gorgeous restaurant with fantastic vegan options! I love this place because they have a dedicated vegan menu. The menu is extensive and the staff was knowledgeable and friendly. I got the pad see ew and it was delicious! My partner tried the green curry & was pleased as well. We will definitely be making this our go-to Thai spot in Williamsburg!

Meh - Edit
I went to Nora as part of a group (2 vegans and 2 dedicated carnivores who also happen to be fussy diners with ridiculously high standards). I am well aware that this is a challenging combo, and Nora got the job done, but....
Read moreI ordered a dish from the vegan menu, Rad Na. I think I was specific about wanting the vegan version, but I got the chicken/shrimp version. To be fair to the waitress, the restaurant was pretty loud, but with two different dishes on the menu with the same name, it does seem like a recipe for confusion, and the confusion occurred.
The staff were understanding and replaced the dish they brought with the dish I ordered, no questions asked. What I ended up eating was very bland. I suspect that it wasn't prepared as it normally would have been because they were rushing. Although, the other vegan got the pad see ew, and I thought that was pretty bland as well.
They had 3 vegan desserts listed, but I didn't try any. They'd sold out of the dessert I ordered, which was just as well because I was actually pretty full.
I had planned to order a cocktail, but the waitress cleared the cocktail menus out with extreme efficiency. I obviously could have gotten it back, but I figured it was a nudge to be healthier and skip it. Not a big deal, but it was a little odd.
The carnivores were happy.
Probably if you're in a mixed party, this place is a good option. I feel like I got them on an off night.
It's a bustling, celebratory atmosphere. Good for groups going out. Loud, but not unusually so.

Strong Thai option in Williamsburg - Edit
Great option for vegans and omnis alike. Vegan section of the menu is a huge help for fans of Thai food. The noodles and salads are Nora’s strengths (the soups are meh IMHO). #Veganuary

Delicious Thai with full menu for vegans and meat-eaters alike - Edit
Stumbled upon this place while looking for good vegan options among the vegan-friendly chains or meat-heavy menus in this part of Williamsburg. Good service, fun/funky interior, delicious food! My meat-eating mom and I both enjoyed our meal greatly. We loved Nora Thai. Would come back!
