Delicious Food and Friendly Service - Edit
We are new to Austin and we were so excited to see Nissi was nearby! We’ve been twice so far and everything we’ve tried was fantastic, but especially the picadillo burrito, carne asada taco, and pastor flautas. Everything is so fresh and flavorful. There’s no gluten-y after taste like I’ve experienced with other vegan tacos in the area. Beyond the food, I’d say the best part is how incredibly friendly the people working here are - you can tell a lot of care goes into the food. I’m really excited to come back to try the hempchata and nachos sometime soon!

So flavorful! The nachos were huge! Way more food than I had anticipated. The nachos were delicious and cheesy. The burrito was delicious as well. It was huge and filling!

Yummm! I ordered the Nat’cho Plate with “Carne Asada” and added spicy salsa! Very flavorful. The portion was huge - definitely shareable.

Best vegan tacos in Austin. Order the taco platter, you literally cant go wrong. The employee was so friendly and personable despite the 100 degree day.

Unlike all the other alternatives in the area which make vegan tacos American Hipster style, this place actually goes above and beyond making truly Mexican street-style dishes. Make sure you don't miss out on the tomatillo sauce.

Nissi is hands down the best. You can tell each plate is made with love on how well it tastes and how well it’s plated and presented. They always bring out your food with smiles. You can also order their meats from them. Very friendly owners and staff.

The best vegan Mexican food I’ve had in Austin! All of the faux meats are amazing the fajita “meat” is incredible. Wish I didn’t wait until the last day of my trip to eat here because I’d probably come back everyday. The owner makes sure that everything is to your liking and is so kind!

The food here is delicious. I have not tried anything I don't like. Plus, it really is authentic Mexican food. The flautas are divine, as is the taco plate. Also, the nachos and the burrito are a favorite in my house. Plus, the service is unmatched, the owners are so nice! Highly, highly recommend.
