Delicious Vegan Options in Central Seoul Location - Edit
Nirvana has a menu page of vegetarian items. The staff ask if you are vegan and prepare the dish with vegan ingredients. We ordered 3 different dishes, and all had unique and delicious flavors. The samosas were also hot and flavorful. Located on Insadong cultural street. Staff speaks English and are welcoming and friendly. Highly recommended.

Indian food is our happy place so after 10 days of Korean food this was a very welcome change. Fantastic dahl and channa masala with naan bread. Very welcoming staff. Owner is Indian and owns several other restaurants, very friendly staff. Good playlist too!

Vegan-Friendly Indian Food - Edit
5 min walk from Anguk Subway Station Exit 6, located within Insadong Shopping Street. Halal and vegetarian/vegan-friendly Indian eatery! Contains alliums. The menu clearly labels vegan options with a green V, and the staff is clear about what veganism means. There are 9 vegetarian curries, 4 of which are vegan by default. The staff is also happy to advise on how we can customise vegan dishes, e.g. replacing cottage cheese with peas / mushrooms / potatoes / tofu in the palak paneer. They also have weekday lunch sets, couple sets, family sets, etc. Nice setting but reasonably priced. Heard that they are preparing a big vegan menu!

I loved their food so much! They have 3 vegan appetizer items - papadum, samosa, veg pakora - and their garden salad also can be made vegan. Also they had about 6 vegan curry options. I fell in love with their samosa!!! It was spicy and flavorful. Their curries were also amazing. Nice atmosphere and super friendly staffs.

Lots of options available for vegetarians and really tasty. Easy to use and can be ordered on shuttle easily and picked up. I really enjoyed the butter masala paneer and it was even better for 2nds the next day for lunch.

Decent selection of vegan choices. The wait staff were well versed on veganism and asked me if I was despite my husband ordering tandoori chicken. The owner cane and chatted to me about veganism and made sure to tell me not to eat the naan my husband ordered. The channa masala was delicious and filling with rice.

This was honestly one of the best restaurant experiences I’ve ever had. The hospitality was beyond anything I’ve ever seen. On top of that they were phenomenal about catering to dietary restrictions. Right off the bat they asked if anyone in our group was vegan. When I said that I was, he walked me through the menu, and even offered to alter other dishes or to make me dishes that aren’t on the menu. For my brother (who is celiac) they changed out the oil and fried something just for him so there would be no cross contamination.

4 marked vegan curry options - Tarka Daal (13,500), Chana Masala (13,500), and two mixed veg type curries - one with a tomato sauce and one with coconut (15,000). We had the two mixed veg curries plus rice and roti.

Owner is foreign and speaks perfect English. Interior is nice, but the food isn’t good and the price is a little high.

Best Indian restaurant in Asia - Edit
I loved this place. I went there by myself to check it out. Loved it so much that over the next two weeks I went there four more times, with some friend or friends. All my friends loved it and went multiple times with their friends. Great food, great service, great ambience, great location. Next time I visit Seoul, I will go there several times. You have to try this place.
