I had lunch there and took a main course. The menu changes daily and everything is cooked very fresh. Food was absolutely delicious and the cafe itself reminded my time in Rishikesh. I highly recommend Nirvana!

The restaurant is not the most casual ones, for just a pop out tourist, who want's to grab some food it can look quite hipster-ishy, but despite that, the food is amazing! At first the portions might look quite small, but trust me that the food is really filling.
Read moreRegarding the menu, this is not the type of restaurant, that will have unlimited amount of vegan options. Mostly they have one raw and one cooked dish, quite a variety of drinks, ranging from juices to hot drinks and really tasty deserts.
Overall, highly recommend and will definitely come back again when I'll be visiting Riga.

As the name implies this is an Age of Aquarius style restaurant. Indian textiles and staff wearing bandanas. The food is the freshest in Riga. Excellent and nutritious meals made in the small open kitchen with lots of raw choices. Great desserts also. The lunch menu for 5-7 € is great value. The service is super friendly if not a tad chaotic. A must visit whilst in Riga.

It closes at 6pm but we made a call and they were friendly enough to let us come at around 7pm! It is all raw vegan food restaurant and has to be my favorite raw one. RAW VEGAN CHEESECAKE!! The recipe is very different from other restaurants. There is usually only 3 choices in the menu per day but totally worth it.

Only 100% raw vegan place in Riga - Edit
I had my very first raw vegan food experience here. Will definitely be coming back. Great food, beautiful interior and friendly staff. They also have lots of interesting books to read while you're waiting for your food. Oh, and they have daily specials which can be viewed every day on their Facebook page. They have amazing cakes but I recommend going early if you want to get one, because they sell out fast.

Nirvana was a really great find! I didn't know what to expect and I found a small, very cozy cafe, with a stylish central Asia decor (even the toilet is full of great details and is pleasant to look at!).
Read moreI was there to eat and not to have tea, and while there was only one option left I could have (they had run out of the other dish available for lunch), I was very happy with what I got!
A mere 5 euros, which in Latvia feel a very fair price, got me a big, well presented plate of raw courgette pasta topped with red and yellow tomatoes, a generous mount of flavoured cashew cheese and a very tasty veggie ball (ingredients unknown but it was firm).
The dish was meant to come with cucumber pasta too, but since I cannot eat cucumber they made it just courgette for me: service all together was very friendly!
I think beside for a couple of lunch options, they only make smoothies and serve hot drinks, but despite the limited options this remains a little gem well worth visiting while in Riga!
