Reasonably priced izakaya with a vegan menu that has six items, including a vegan plate (bibimbap) and cucumber salad. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable, and there's even traditional floor seating. Go up the stairs beside FamilyMart, it's on the fourth floor!

We were looking for an izakaya style restaurant and it's really difficult to find one with vegan options. This one has a whole vegan menu and the bibimbap I ate was really tasty. The vibe of the place is really good with a lot of charm. Un sitio muy encantador.

Es gab eine Vegane Karte mit mehreren Gerichten. Die vegan plate ist ein Veganes Hauptgericht, das jeden Tag wechselt. Als wir da waren, gab es bibimbap mit Gemüse und Tofu. Wir hatten noch ein paar kleinere Vorspeisen dazu und alles war wirklich sehr lecker. Die Atmosphäre war auch sehr angenehm.

This place was really great. Very welcoming. A little tricky to find. When you’re going up the stairs and you feel like you’re going to the wrong way, (it’s actually the right way) haha. It’s right on the top floor, the food was delicious and the service was so lovely.

Read moreA very quirky, eclectic little place. We were seated at the bar, so could see our food being prepped right in front of us. My partner and I shared 4 dishes - they were definitely on the small side but very tasty. The drinks menu also has a range of unique local specialties.
Smoking is permitted inside and it’s a very enclosed space, so when guys started smoking ciggies at the bar next to us it wasn’t the most pleasant 😷

This place is a bit hard to find, it’s up a few flights of stairs. Everything we ordered was vegan and delicious. The vegan plate was bibimbap and amazing. We sat in the tatami room and the service was great too. Highly recommend!

This place was great! They have a whole separate vegan menu, which is awesome! I got the vegan plate, which had a variety of veggies and tofu on rice. Very tasty! We also got the cucumber with miso and sesame and fries, both of which I highly recommend.

Read moreThere were only two vegan/veg meal options, plus four vegan/veg snacks, so not a huge amount of variety.
If it’s not marked as vegan, it will have meat of some kind, even if there’s no meat in the description (for example, the cheese loaf has minced pork).
Also FYI, smoking is permitted, so it smells quite smokey.

This place was really a surprise! When no other place would take us in without a huge queue or a reservation, this place was a life saver. You need to climb up some stairs, but when you get there, the ambience is so cool, the staff couldn't be nicer and the food is a surprise for our taste buds! I would definitely recommend.

Read moreWe came here for dinner and a drink and were so happy we found it. Two vegan plate options, rice or pasta, and lots of vegan app choices. Welcoming to tourists and the bartender gave us information for other bars we could visit later. A great oasis in kabukicho!
