Awful - burnt cookies and empty ideology - Edit
Everything about this place has gone downhill recently - and it's not just the tasteless bagels and burnt cookies. Yesterday, the owners - who have apparently graduated from Slogan University - put up a sign saying they were "Closed for Strike." (Yes, missing an 'a' or 'the' - like their food, the sign was missing a few ingredients: syntax, grammar etc.). The sign went on to quote from a learned source: a hashtag. What followed was a rambling, conspiracy-laden rant about the "terror of many Western states" and a solid misspelling of "gaza." The sign didn't mention the US or Israel by name but it didn't have to: the anti-Semitism was obvious. The people that bring you burnt cookies are also excelling at, apparently, chants in line with "from the river to the sea." Though, like others, likely can't name the river OR the sea implied, or understand the meaning. Perhaps, this was really just an excuse for a day off - because their pathetic strike did nothing for Gazans. The sign claimed the strike was a "loud signal" - yes, it was. Of the total ignorance and hypocrisy of the owners. During the massacre in Israel by Hamas terrorists - Nick's kept baking.
Read moreI do want to say something nice - this IS a great space for meeting friends, family and Hamas sympathizers. Open seating assures there's plenty of space for all - unless, of course, you don't fit the ideology of the pitiful owners.😄
Pros: it's open
Cons: owners seem to be ignorant of history, burnt cookies
