I wasn't expecting too much given some other reviews but I was still a bit disappointed by the meal. We tried the carbonara, lemonade and the focaccia (this being the best of the three). The lemonade tasted quite watered down and the carbonara was really just fine in my opinion. The decor is a bit dated also. The staff were friendly and the cakes did look nice but didn't try them.

I went there this week with my husband who is not vegan. We were both very disappointed. I had been there twice before myself and hadn't been overwhelmed, but this time it was my husband's choice to go there.
Read moreIt simply does not deserve to be considered the best vegan restaurant in Budapest - no effort in the cooking AT ALL, very few raw vegetables for example or seeds, nuts and things like that. Small sprouts and stuff. It's more the quantity than the quality.
I'll NEVER visit them again ...
No wine and beer also for those who like to have that. No real coffee either.
The decoration is also quite .... bad.

Great menu, cozy atmosphere and comfortable chairs. Really Nice staff and food. It was difficult to choose between the nice selection of plates. We went with the pad thai and carbonara and they hit the spot!

We had dinner here and it was quite good. The food was ok, portions were big, stuff was nice and it's pet friendly. I recommend it because there is a lot of options to choose from and of course because of their amazing vegan cake and pastry options. We tried two different cakes and both were very good.

Friendly and considerate staff, delicious food. We had a platter for 2 with different components to taste. Also we had a grain coffee with oat milk, a strawberry tiramisu and a Mozart's cake - all very tasty.

I think I went in a little overhyped after reading all the glowing reviews, but it was still a really nice dinner overall. We had the tofu stew, falafel plate and the side veggie plate (which included tofu and potatoes). The food wasn't the most memorable vegan meal I've ever had, but definitely tasty and worth trying if you're curious about Hungarian flavors.
Read moreThe place itself has plenty of seating inside and a few spots outside, though the street felt a bit dark in the late afternoon (just something to keep in mind). We also tried two of their cakes - good for sure, but not something I would have greatly missed out on had I not tried them :)

Perfect Spot for Meals & Ice Cream - Edit
The food at this restaurant was absolutely delicious! We will definitely come back. Great value for money, and they also offer a changing weekly menu. I also loved the location, and the desserts and ice cream are highly recommended.

Always appetizing and delicious. Tasteful looking place, but can be quite elitist. Lots of gluten free and sugar free options. Doesn't deliver to whole Budapest though.

It's better than the rest of the options in the area in terms of vegan options but the actual food is just ok. Ordered a grill platter and it missed its pitta bread and had only two plain pieces of tofu and some zucchini with deep-fried plain potatoes. The soup was fine but extra salty.

I totally agree with you. I went there this week with my husband and he didn't like it too much (he's not vegan), but myself, I find that there is not AT ALL enough effort put into the cooking.

People who like a glass of wine or a beer and a coffee should also be warned, because you can't have that here. Personally, I'll never visit them again.

With high ratings both here and on Google Maps, we were excited. Initially, I had planned to order something typically Hungarian because I got the impression that they had a lot of that product, but once there, I didn't think anything "Hungarian" looked that appetizing so I ordered falafel with bread and my partner seitan with potatoes and tartar sauce. Unfortunately, it was a disappointment. Of course, I can't swear to how the cooking was done, but... my feeling based on the taste and consistency was that it was semi-finished. Sad because it was a nice environment and staff. I can add that the sauces were good, but as I said, the food didn't live up to what I had imagined.
