Junky Vegan, but Opens Early - Edit
After a night of wedding festivities and attempting to curb any signs of a hangover, the best thing you can do is go to a Tex-Mex spot that's opened early.
Read moreI've tried the Nacho Daddy on the Strip and this is a very similar experience. They have a dedicated vegan menu with a lot of options that include mock meats, so if you're into that kind of vegan diet, then this place will make you feel junky and whole like you used to before.
I went with their loaded nachos topped with vegan crema and cheese, and it was a great snack to go with my drink. A bit heavy? For sure... but with good company it was all well worth the extra calories on a busy weekend. Just don't do it too often otherwise you'll face the consequences.
Thanks Nacho Daddy for the amazing, attentive service as well even during the early morning.

Nacho bar with vegan options - Edit
Las Vegas was a little tricky as a vegan! We where here in august and struggled finding only vegan restaurants. At nacho daddy they had really nice staff and a few vegan options. The portion sizes where huge and we liked our loaded nachos! The vegan cheese was good! Worth a visit when going out but not a cozy dinner out place.

Good food - Edit
Many vegan options of Mexican food. The serving sizes are huge. I had the quesadilla with vegan cheese and vegan chicken which was good but very stuffing.

Vegan Nachos Paradise! - Edit
Went to Nacho Daddy (Downtown) with a group of (non-vegan) friends and Nacho Daddy was the perfect place for us to have dinner. I shared some vegan loaded nachos with my partner which were utterly delicious. A fun and lively atmosphere. Excellent service. Cannot complain!

Something for everyone - Edit
Love that they have a vegan menu with quite a few options. Today I tried the quesadilla. It was good, but it wasn't as good as I remember the nachos being! I hope I get another shot before we leave town.

Appreciate the options - Edit
Mexican is a tough one sometimes. Sautéed mushrooms & peppers and no cheese is the norm, I feel like. But Nacho Daddy’s offers a wide variety of the ol’ usuals - chimichangas, quesadillas, even enchiladas. I’m not a huge fan of fake meat & cheese so I typically steer clear, but I appreciate the options for others. What I did have was fabulous.

Pretty delicious - Edit
Right down the street from Fremont; vegan options clearly labeled. Good portion- enough for two. Their bar was big; looks like a great place if you like to drink.

Lots of vegan options and yummy choc cake - Edit
We were initially drawn here by the separate vegan menu that we found online, and it didn’t disappoint! Proper American restaurant, quite dark and noisy inside but that’s part of the experience. Very very tasty fake chicken, lots to choose from and hugeeee portions. Deffo recommend to fellow vegans and non-vegans!

Fun Taco Tuesday! - Edit
Impromptu taco night. Looked this up on Happy Cow and decided to try it. 20 minute wait, no problem. The Freemont Experience is just down the street! Vegan chicken tacos and vegan fajita salad. Both great and tasty. Would have been an higher star review, but we ordered a beer flight and got 2 of the same beer, because the stout was out, but the server didn’t tell us or ask if we wanted something else. Another server had to tell us when we said it wasn’t a stout and tasted the same as the other beer

OK - Edit
This was the only place I could find in Las Vegas that opened early and had vegan food. Unfortunately they don't have breakfast food, but at least we were able to eat something before heading to Kanab, Utah. The food was OK, but the music was too loud. The ambiance and food weren't suitable for the morning.

The food was huge. The staff was so accommodating and attentive. And the food was so flavorful. I forgot it was vegan for a second and had to cut into my burrito just to make sure.

Amazing food, but with a dark side - Edit
The food really was amazing - the chicken chimichanga was delicious. They have an entire page of the menu that is vegan - plus vegan dessert. Minus a star because of the scorpion issues… there is a tank at the entrance that supposedly has live scorpions in it, but I didn’t see any. They also have a thing called a scorpion shot - a shot of alcohol with a dead scorpion in the glass. The music is pretty loud in here & we could only have bar seating because it was busy.

Letdown - Edit
First of all, I felt really bad for the live scorpion who was huddled in the corner of his glass house at the front - especially with the booming music, like don’t get me wrong, the vibes in here are fun, but don’t they “hear” through vibration? Seems [censored] to me to keep him in there in more ways than one. Anyway, I really wanted to like this place! We were super excited after reading all the positive reviews, but the guacamole was okay, chips were stale, ordered the Vegan Daddy’s Bowl and sadly would have preferred just hitting up the Chipotle we passed on the way for $100 less. House margarita pitcher was yummy, but I didn’t even catch a buzz and I usually have to be careful with tequila. It’s cute inside and the music is fun with the videos on the big screen, but it was a total disappointment.

Cons: Sad scorpion boy , Average or below average food, Weak drinks
