It’s a little hard to find as it’s in a sort of open shopping centre type location. If you follow Google maps it’ll take you to the entrance gate. You need to walk straight ahead through the gate and the restaurant is on the right.
Read moreSo many delicious sounding foods! We weren’t 100% about what we had ordered as our Spanish isn’t amazing but what we got was delicious. We also received something we hadn’t ordered and assumed it was some type of amuse-bouche as it was small but very delicious!
I had a mole and the depth of flavour was incredible. It’s nice to be able to try something Mexican that isn’t tacos. As much as I love them I felt like I was turning into one!
Service was great and very patient considering we were trying to Google translate the menu!

Read moreThe place itself is just a tiny bit hard to find, but once you do, there's plenty of seating, though it can get a little loud on the "terraza" (which isn't quite outdoors, it's actually inside.. you'll see).
Prices more reasonable than I went in expecting for San Ángel.

Todo es MUY rico! Al menos el 95% de lo que he probado me ha enamorado. La entrada de cortesía con queso de almendra, el puré istmeño con verduras y mole negro, el tamal verde, el chocolate caliente y el pastel de chocolate son mis favoritos. Para compartir las pescadillas y rescatando al atún son ideales. Desde que probé este restaurante lo he frecuentado y también probé la kombucha más rica, La Liebre.

Oaxaqueña and Veracruzana amazingness. There is a lot of care put into the preparation, and the result is total deliciousness. It would be hard to find a better mole sauce at a vegan restaurant anywhere. Worth the visit to San Angel in order to come here. Staff were knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful too.

De mis preferidos son las entradas Veracruzanas,
Los tacos de Birria de Jamaica y el tamal de mole
Pero realmente cualquier elección del menú, no te va a decepcionar.

A place where you DON'T feel like entering a fast-food place or kiosk but a real restaurant where you could pick starters, main dish and desert. Food is amazing! The owner was super nice, attentive and personal. Waitresses are professional. We will come back many times.

EXCELENTE en todo aspecto 🤩 este es uno de pocos lugares veganos que sirven comida originaria y típica del país, todos los platillos son sabrosisimos. Hemos probado la sopa de guías, tlayuda, garnachas veracruzanas, chilaquiles de pipián verde y chilaquiles de mole encacahuatado. TODO ha sido delicioso, super llenador y con excelente servicio también. Su menú es bastante creativo y hasta la presentación de la comida es muy elegante. Pruébenlo, no se van a arrepentir 😍

Best vegan restaurant for Mexican food - Edit
This place is delicious and authentic at the same time! My boyfriend isn't vegan, he is Mexican, and totally loves this place. They always give a nibble for free (tostadas) and we order 2 dishes and a dessert, we pay around 600 pesos (about 24 eur). Our favourite dishes: pescaditas, anything with mole (specially Enmoladas in green mole) and tamal for dessert.

Amo el ambiente del lugar. Toda comida es deliciosa, me gustó la pancita de setas, tamal con huitlacoche, las enmoladas ! Uff y de postres el arroz con leche, la bomba veracruzana y el tamal de piña.
