Bland - Edit
Got the pancakes and a coffee. Locale nice, service fine. Coffee solid. Prices reasonable. Pancakes super bland, dough wasn't very seasoned and light on the toppings. Super disappointing, I want to give it at least one more chance with a savoury breakfast. Can't recommend.

Vegan café with freshly made juices. We shared a frittata and a Dahl, both were really flavoursome. Excellent service too. Recommend a visit! Cosy and calm ambience.

So good! - Edit
Probably one of the best breakfasts I’ve had in Lisbon. I had the blue latte and the pancakes. Loved the sauce on the pancake and it wasn’t too sweet either

Nice Meal - Edit
We started with a green smoothie (lemon forward flavor) and golden milk (very mild flavor, would have liked a lot more spice infusion). Then we shared the Earth Bowl (excellent flavor) and the Toast No Bread. The latter tasted fine, but it wasnt as described on the menu, and the proportions were off. The sweet potato slices were good, but there was very little spinach and the portion of sour cream on top was more of a main ingredient than a condiment. The black tahini, green dressing, and dukkah were little decorative drops on the plate, and if they were in between the two slices of potato you couldnt find them. The indoor space was bright and pleasant and the service was good.

Came here for lunch twice after visiting the Gulbenkian and really liked the food and atmosphere! Good range of options and the waitstaff are lovely. We sat inside both times but there are tables outside too.

Well… i have mixed feelings about this place. - Edit
It was the first time I'd visited the place and I'd been wanting to come here for a long time. The food is good. The desserts are wonderful. The place is cozy and cute But the service isn't very friendly and the cutlery is an unnecessary challenge. So uncomfortable that I couldn't enjoy the food as much as I would have liked.

My sisters - Edit
A nice spot in a quieter part of Lisbon. I liked that they used mushrooms in the omelette, but it was a bit bland to be honest. The juice was good enough and service was quick when I visited.

Amazing find - Edit
Came here for a lunch after some museum touring. Based on the other reviews, I kind of had the impression that since the place was very health-oriented, the flavours would be somehow lacking. This was NOT the case!! Everything we had were truly delicious. We ordered two different smoothies, the ”omelette”, and earth bowl. All were really tasty, 100% recommended.

Mom’s Daughters Are Doing A-OK! - Edit
En route to experiencing some culture at the Gulbenkian, we popped into My Mother's Daughters for some much-needed grub. A couple of blocks from the museum, MMD has a very charming -- I use that word a lot in Lisbon! -- street front; fine curb-appeal. It was a beautiful day, so we decided to do it alfresco. Naturally, we chose the table that simply didn't sit well on the cobbled sidewalk; everything felt lopsided. Nevertheless, we made do with what was there. Jay went with the farinata (a chickpea crusted "pizza"; 2 small slices); I ordered the mung bean wrap. We also ordered a couple of glasses of red wine. The wine came out first, with the waitperson presenting a two-third's empty bottle; he gave us an opportunity to taste it first (which we nixed). As it turned out, we should have since the wine was particularly acidic, as if having sat in the uncorked bottle for a few days. My mung bean wrap (filled with fine-shredded carrots and beetroot) was "healthy" tasting; the accompanying side salad was fresh and sparingly dressed. The staff that waited on us were very friendly. Compared to in-town, these streets in the "modern" section of Lisboa are very clean and nowhere-near as bustling (at least when we were there in the early afternoon). Overall, My Mother's Daughters gets a thumb's-up from me. :)

Vegan’s paradise - Edit
A cozy café of the more traditional type with incredibly tasty, healthy seasonal food. Also includes diverse sweet meals. Before coming to Lisbon, I’ve heard its a vegan’s paradise and it was certainly so in this place 🍀

Healthy All the Way - Edit
My Mother's Daughter is a 100% plant-based restaurant near the Gulbenkian Museum. We chose the outdoor seating because it was a lovely day, and the inside was a bit too warm. The wait staff was super friendly and quick to help us out. They even brought the English menu without us asking! That was a nice surprise. I ordered the farinata, a Genovese-inspired street food that the menu described as a chickpea flour pizza. It was pretty accurate! The flavor was great, but the 'crust' was a bit mushy and I had to eat it with a fork. It was still tasty, though. For 14 euros, I thought it was a bit pricey, but it was still worth it. If you're into healthy food, you'll definitely love this place!

Perfect brunch - Edit
Great brunch. Had golden mylk and red velvet to drink. To eat we tried their buratta and it was incredible. We also tried their omelette which as well was very nice. Also had their season raw cake and very delicious chestnut puree. We sat outside which was very nice too.

Recommended by a local friend, my meal was tasty but more importantly healthy. My favorite was the Greek Salad. Great coffee and desserts as well. Great outdoor seating area, which seems to be a common attribute of great Lisbon restaurants.

A Delicious and Healthy Experience: Earth Bowl and Ginger Elixir - Edit
The vegan Earth Bowl was an absolutely delightful discovery! Every bite was bursting with fresh, well-balanced flavors, and the quality of the organic ingredients was evident. The crunchy vegetables, well-chosen legumes, and grains, paired with a light yet flavorful dressing, made for a satisfying and wholesome meal.
Read moreThe ginger elixir was equally enjoyable: refreshing with just the right touch of spiciness and natural sweetness. A perfect combination to complement the meal and give a boost of energy.

Looks nice but bland - Edit
I was disappointed with the flavors and texture of the food. Maybe the chef was having an off day. The not toast was bland and unexciting and the pancakes stodgy and flavourless. It’s a shame cos the place is cute and i really wanted to like it
