Fantastic Korean food

Had a takeaway from here and tried as much of the menu that we could including the vegan fried chicken, kimchi pancakes, japchae, tteokbokki, dumplings, kimchi fried rice, and the spicy pork with rice. It was all delicious. My favourites were the japchae and the Korean fried chicken - both had such a great taste and texture, definitely recommend!!

Always a pleasure!

What can I say? I’ve tried pretty much every dish on the menu and multiple times took non-vegetarian/vegan friends and family there and everyone liked the dishes, surrounding and the exceptionally staff!

My absolute favorite is the infused soy sauce with kimchi pancakes!

Pros: Staff, Taste

Amazing Korean food!

Tiny location but impressed by how many seats they fit in anyways. The food is great, the location makes you have a quick meal, which works fine. One of the better restaurants I visited in London in terms of food quality. Impressed by their gimbap, Korean candy is a nice touch when you head out. Will definitely come back here.

Pros: Delicious food, Korean food

Cons: Limited seating

Cute little spot

Tiny little restaurant but service is so quick. No bathrooms! Which is shocking and surprised it’s allowed?!

Good selection including vegan kimchi which is a favourite.

Would recommend but make sure you go to the bathroom before heading out!

Pros: Good choice , Quick service

Cons: No bathrooms.

Decent overall

We had 3 dishes here. Spicy pork with rice, bulgogi with rice and ddeokboki (small).

The main dishes were delicious but the small side dish really was too small for the cost. A mere 5 strands of rice cakes.

Stick with the main dishes, and you'll enjoy it

Overrated

Disappointed with my order. The kimbap lacked fresh flavour and the inclusion of sausage with an unhealthy sauce was off-putting. As for the “cucumber kimchi”, it was merely fresh cucumber slices in gochujang, lacking the fermentation entirely... not exactly what’s expected and didn’t leave a particularly good impression.

I went yesterday and it was a disappointment, I also didn't expect those sausages in the gimbap and even in the fried rice ... !

Fantastic vegan Korean food

As someone who NEEDS spicy food, I love this place. The Tteokbokkii (spicy rice noodles) aren’t super hot, but they’re really fun, chewy and satisfying. The owners are lovely and staff were great today.

Pros: Tteokbokkii with cheese, Fried seaweed rolls, Kimchi

Amazing!

We visited this place last night not expecting too much. Not because of any bad reviews but because it was a rushed decision. But oh my word!!! The food is so delicious. We tried kimchi - because I've been obsessed with fermented food since I was a child and it was very yummy. I also tried yuzu tea which was very interesting. The Korean pancake was definitely better than the one we make at home. We couldn't get enough of it. We also tried the dumplings and seaweed rolls with glass noodles inside. Honestly! Delicious delicious vegan food. Thank you!!

Delish Korean food

Very small, so get there quick for dinner! It tasted authentic, the portion sizes were great, and the vibe was very cute. The pancake things were great! I wanted to try proper tteokbokki as I've made it at home, but sadly learnt it's not my thing 😂 loved everything else though!! Good prices too.

SO FRIKKEN CUTE!!!

We stopped in at Mukbap for our last lunch in London today and were greeted by the owners mother - the warmest, most wonderful human with a beautiful energy who welcomed us into their small shop with our giant bags and made room for us, despite the restaurant being quite full already. She chatted to us while we ordered and was genuinely interested in what we were up to, where we’d come from, and our cat. I know it seems a little irrelevant to the review but I can’t stress just how much chatting to her made our day.

As for the food, it was fu**ing awesome. We got the japchae, the spicy cucumbers, the sushi roll and the vegie pancakes. We will be back on our next trip for sure!

Pros: The staff , The food, Everything is good just go here

Cute vegan place

Amazing authentic Korean food, we all loved what we ordered (beef bibimbap, seaweed, and dumplings) and the vegan substitutes were great.
Was a bit too salty for my taste, but would still highly highly recommend!

Pros: Beef bibimbap , Peach juice, Dumplings

Cons: Small space (but adds to the cuteness), A little too salty

Delicious!

I really enjoyed my visit to MukBap! It’s only a small restaurant, with seating for only around 10 people, so it’s worth arriving early. Me and my wife arrived just after it opened at 12 and it wasn’t long until it was full.

They have an interesting menu and we went for a variety of dishes including Kimchi Pancake (Kimchijeon), Crispy Fried Seaweed Rolls (Kimmari) and Fat Roll (Kimbap) for starters, and Sweet Potato Noodle (Japchae) and “Beef” with Rice (Bulgogi) for mains.

I really enjoyed all of the food! There were lots of different flavours and textures and it was all really tasty and satisfying. I particularly enjoyed the Kimchi Pancake which was delicious. The seaweed rolls were also so good! The Sweet Potato Noodle had a great flavour and I really enjoyed the texture of the noodles in the dish. The “beef” in the Bulgogi also had a great meaty texture and rich flavour.

All the food was delicious and I would definitely recommend a visit!

Pros: Delicious flavours, Interesting dishes

Cons: Limited seating
