Delicious - Edit
This was my first visit, and I found the food delicious. As I dislike food waste, I appreciated that their portion—three small dishes and a soup—was just right for two people. I’ll definitely be back!

Vegan-Friendly Chinese Vegetarian Food - Edit
Second branch of Mother Earth! While there is no shortage of vegetarian allium-free Chinese eateries in Singapore, what makes Mother Earth and Mother Earth Classic stand out is their sincerity in ensuring that their menu is vegan-friendly. Recently came for their vegan-friendly CNY 10-course dine-in set, with interesting fusion dishes (Japanese Style Potato Meat Stew, Orh Nee Smoothie Bowl, etc) which got the stamp of approval from my non-veg family members. Likewise, almost the entire regular menu is veganisable, such as the Signature Creamy Abalone Mushroom (my favourite item!) which can be made with oat milk for a vegan version. In addition, some dishes are unique to this outlet, such as the Sichuan Style Spicy Monkey Head Mushrooms (must-try!), Teochew Crispy Fish with Ginger and Black Bean Sauce, Pig's Tripe Pepper Soup with Preserved Vegetables, Kyoto Pork Ribs with Lychee Crispy Yam Ring, etc. Some of the Teochew-style dishes even brought back childhood memories for my extended family! The dishes are tasty yet not oily, and the menu is affordably priced and very extensive. (In fact, calling this a Chinese eatery is a bit inaccurate, since they have many Western food options too.) Do yourself a favour and check out the food here!

I love the dishes at the first outlet but rarely find myself in the West; glad that this second outlet is much more centrally located! Conveniently located just a few minutes' walk from Kallang MRT. There are several parking options around, including free parking at the nearby 115 Geylang Lorong 3 on Sundays / public holidays as well as after 6pm on other days.

Wish we had some more time - Edit
We reached literally less than 5 minutes before the order closing time. The server did mention that it will be to quick to order so we just picked some items so that we can get the order in before the end of the order time.
Read moreWe ordered Vegan Triple Satay Platter as an appetizer but it came in last. Also Vegan Claypot Mapo Tofu and Vegan Thai Chilli Rice with crispy tofu.
Vegan Thai Chilli Rice with crispy Tofu. The Crispy Tofu was incredibly crispy and very flavourful. Not spicy though and dry to eat with just rice. Sauce provided but didn’t go well with rice.
Vegan Claypot Mapo Tofu very good dish, wish it was a bit more spicy and also didn’t come with rice. So the rice from Crispy Tofu and and this dish it worked.
Vegan Triple Satay - all the satays were incredibly good. Well crispy, flavoured and went with the sauce provided. The satay sauce a bit grainy and could have also used some more spice. #Veganuary
Pros: Good choices,
Cons: Not as spicy as we would have liked

Impressed with the quality of the food served - Edit
We visited last week and were impressed with the quality of the food served. 😃 Even my little ones couldn’t stop raving about it! The West Lake Beef Broth was rich and savory, while the Creamy Corn Egg Flower Soup was a hit with the kids. You’ve got to try their Sichuan Style Spicy Monkey Head Mushrooms - they’re fiery and tasty!🔥 We also loved the Wok-Fried ‘Hor Fun’ with Diced Kailan & Preserved Radish - it was so flavourful! If you’re bored of the usual stir-fried vegetables, give the Crispy Eggplant with Burdock a try - it’s fried to perfection and so yummy!😋 To complete your meal, I recommend trying the Honey Calamansi Cold-Brewed Green Tea or Citrus Twist Mocktail - they’re both so refreshing!🤗
