Vegan menu available

Pros: vegan/vegetarian menu available that’s clearly labeled, very cute restaurant good for special occasions/family in town, can walk around the ship which dates back to 1904, portion sizes.

Cons: service was very slow, had to ask 3 times for vegan menu (host originally said there wasn’t one and to just ask server what could be made), took a half hour to even get waters to the table.

Partners parents were in town so we figured it would be a nice place we could all go for veg and non-veg that’s a little different than the normal restaurant vibes. Ordered the Avocado Crispy Rice and Tofu Tataki. Both were decent options to have and very big portions. The waitress kept forgetting about us and had to ask a few times for the vegan menu. Do not order the espresso martini it is syrup-y.

So Much Potential!

Well, they have a vegan/Vegetarian menu. All of their options could be made vegan too. I had the vegan tofu bowl which was pretty good, just confused. Every part of the dish was good, but it did not come together which was unfortunate... Not to mention the plate had a whole block of tofu and the portions were very generous. The veggies were cold but the rest of the dish was warm. Just felt like all the components were there with fancy mushrooms and veggies but the chef forgot to see if it worked together. I loved the concept, just poorly executed. However, the service was phenomenal and we even got a tour of the ship! It gives me hope that they could improve to make this place more enticing for Vegans.
