EXCEPTIONAL, Both food options and the ambience - Edit
My first night in Siracusa and I found this exceptional restaurant just a short walk from where I am staying... From the moment I walked into the door, greeted by very welcoming staff I knew that I was in the right place! Having been an art curator for over 30 years (now retired) and a vegetarian for more than 50 years you would understand my interest and excitement in finding this wonderful restaurant. Along with a very eclectic art and furniture installation the food options were fantastic... I will be retuning again tonight!!! The overall best vegan restaurant I have ever had the good fortune to find... and the prices are very reasonable!!!!

Food was out of this world and prices afordable, service was super friendly, outside tables in a small old town street super cute and there was live music that made the experience extra nice. I could go there everyday for the rest of my life.

I am vegan but also gluten free. Moon is an amazing restaurant with great and helpful staff. There are some gluten free options. The cheese platter is to die for. I even got gf bread. I also had the sushi with tempura vegetables which were amazing and a gf dessert. If you are in Ortigia Moon is definitely a must!

Moon is everything an excellent restaurant should be. High class, innovative and classy establishment serving exquisit and well thought out dishes. The staff, food and ambiance were truly amazing. Moon is the standard to which all vegan restaurants should aspire.

We had a bit to discuss to get a Tablet Outside, but then we jad a good time. Very friendly and good staff. After reading the recessions I expected a Lot from the food. But IT was only OK. Starter with Sushi and tempura was good. WE Had Carbonara and soya pieces with smashed potato and a small salad. Nothing Special, the composition of the three items could have been better.

This amazing 100% vegan restaurant is located in the heart of beautiful Ortigia island. My husband & I sat outside in a cozy dark corner when I visited MOON this summer so I didn’t get any photos of the incredible food. However, I can still taste its amazing signature carbonara pasta dish with smoked tofu! My husband Steve is old school so he ordered its baked lasagna and raved about it. The cocktails are first class - the bartender even came to our table to discuss what Steve wanted to drink. I ordered the Lua Linda made with pomegranate & thyme shrub. And, of course, we licked our Tiramisu plate clean!
Read moreAnother update! MOON is now open for lunch (at least thru autumn 2023). I wish the menu was a bit bigger but I am thrilled that they offer a midday meal. The cheese platter just keeps getting better! And the cannoli are incredible. I am a big fan of the food, the owner Barbara, the chefs & staff. I highly recommend and it should not be missed🌱💚

Very good vegan food. Also lovely atmosphere, incredebly nice staff and a great overall experience. The fotos are an understatement, the location is really chick, the food high class but the prices for the food and service very fair. A must see in Siracusa!!!

This was just great and somewhat extravagant. We were there for dinner and i must say that all dishes really spoke to me. Even things i thought i knew were able to positively surprise me with their extraordinary taste. Sure it was pricy, but the food was just amazing and interesting. Also the whole Restaurant looks so cool, it has kind of a 20s / 30s avantgarde vibe, and my fiance and i really liked the music.

Such a good place, so happy we went there for dinner! Beautiful atmosphere on the terrace in an old alley and the staff is wonderful. Started with burrata on salad, tagliatelle with carbonara, millefeuille of zucchini and soy chunks (so so good!) and cannoli. All was very good!

The people from the restaurant are passionated with the vegan concept and cooking. The food was the best vegan food i have ever tasted. The decoration of the food in the plate a piece of artwork. Extremely friendly service and very inspiring and artistic place. I would eat there every day if I could. Must go if you are in Sicily.
