Perfectly average breakfast - Edit
The cooked breakfast was the only vegan option but that's exactly what we were looking for before climbing moel siabod. Everything was absolutely fine, but nothing stood out. The vegan sausages weren't the best. The service was excellent though and there is plenty of space for the dogs.

Teething troubles?? - Edit
Tables and seating indoors & out. Car park.
Read moreCalled in for a late breakfast on a Sunday morning in May. The cafe was rammed full. Goodness knows what it will be like in the summer. We managed to find a coffee table in the corner which was stacked with dirty plates, mugs and cutlery. Once we had cleared & cleaned it ourselves we waited over 30 mins for our vegan breakfasts. To be fair they did tell us on ordering at the counter that there was a 25 mins wait. Word of warning if there is more than one in your party bag a table before ordering as they give you a wooden spoon with a number to place on your table. It was mayhem the morning we were there and lots of people leaving unwilling to wait/unable to find a table.
So to the food. The only vegan option we saw was a cooked breakfast which suited us fine. After reading a post here from another happy cower we made it clear we wanted vegan spread with the breakfast not cow butter. We were informed that they only had butter. So we asked them to leave the butter off the plate. We also ordered an oat milk decaf latte and an americano. When the breakfasts arrived they came with cow butter and no coffees. The drinks arrived 10 min later after we enquired twice if they were coming.
The breakfasts were okay not great. The hash browns had a distinct taste of meat burger fat so we left them.
The cafe had been closed for over a year before the new owners opened up. Maybe this is teething issues and they were totally unprepared for the sheer volume of customers.
Just before leaving we used the facilities. The ladies had no toilet paper or soap. So all in all not a great experience here, hence the 1 star. As a local, I will try again in the future to see if there's any improvement.

Crazy busy already at opening 8am Saturday morning, but a very efficient set up and the food turned up quickly. Lovely vegan fry up.

Full vegan breakfast! - Edit
Snowdonia is a tricky place for us vegans, so I was pleased to find a delicious full English vegan breakfast at Moel Siabod cafe! This place is busy so you need to be lucky or wait in line, but if you can get in, it's worth it. Around £8 for a delicious feast in a hiking-orientated relaxed setting.

Great place to stop - Edit
We stopped overnight in their carpark (£5) and so went in to see what they had... There was beetroot hummus or cheeze sandwich, cheeze and red onion panini, date and banana cake and oat or soy milk for hot drinks. We opted for jacket potatoes with cheeze and beans which was delicious. Ended up going back a couple days later off the hill for another! 2 jacket sounds and 2 hot drinks came to £18/19, not cheap but not extortionate.
