Our hotel was around the corner and we were looking to grab a bite to eat before heading to the airport. Nothing super special but their sourdough bread with grilled veggies, hummus and avocado was not bad. Bonus, toilets have Japanese bidet with heated seat, could stay the whole day there.

The outside seating and the interior looks nice. Staff is friendly and they do offer a few vegan options. The coffee was good (with oat milk), but the pancakes tasted really bland. I would not recommend coming, but if you are in a hurry to find a spot, this is just fine.

Choices are limited for vegans and the pancakes we tried also lacked a bit of flavor (tasted very plain). It’s surely nice to go with non-vegan friends if there are no other options but it’s not my top choice for vegan pancakes in Amsterdam.

Worst toast ever. Weird vibes and arrogant response to my honest polite feedback that the sandwich was way too greasy. Basically it was a thick toast layered with unseasoned avocado, oily roasted green bell peppers and “covered” with a bathtub of storebought hummus. So unpleasant as a breakfast…

The food was pretty good, a little sweeter than I had anticipated. They have a few vegan options. I ordered the vegan pancakes and found the pancakes themselves to be a little too sweet, and that's without even adding any syrup. With the syrup it feels like kids pancakes (as in prepared by children, children with a wicked sweet tooth). The other person with me order the avocado toast with humus and he said it was really good, so I think he won.

He stepped behind the counter, and was pretty condescending and abusive to the staff... Not exactly the ideal work environment to create and then anticipate that your wait staff are going to go be cheerful to your customers. Poor form, dude.

I think there were three options that could be made vegan, and this was clearly labelled on the menu. Two sweet pancake dishes (which were extremely similar) and one savoury option- being a toast, hummus and avocado dish, which is what I had. Perhaps a little basic, but it was truly delicious and very enjoyable. The place had a very nice atmosphere and friendly staff. All coffees are made with oat milk as standard, which I loved and the coffee was very good quality. #Veganuary

With pancakes being a must in Amsterdam, I was very happy to find a place that wasn't a million miles from the city centre that could treat us to vegan pancakes 🥞

There's only a few vegan options, and since ice-cream for breakfast isnt something I'm too keen on, the easy choice was the 'The Blue Magic Deluxe'.
I really appreciated the inclusion of wholegrains, and emphasis on fresh fruit, but the pancakes itself were a little meh and honestly quite tasteless. Was very grateful for the genuine Canadian Maple Syrup to add some more flavour.
Also felt the 'vegan tax' here - vegan options being more expensive but the pancakes being significantly smaller and less impressive/fluffy than the non-vegan equivalent. And don't try and tell me it's not possible to do fluffy vegan pancakes (Mr Stacks in Amsterdam can prove you otherwise)
Would have also been nice if there was a chocolate-based option on the menu for vegans. We do actually like a treat, and pancakes with choc is a must!
That said, the coffee was outstanding, and bonus points for all the coffees being with oat milk. ✅

Sorry to say this cute hip-hop themed place has the worst pancakes i have ever eaten, including my many failed attempts to make gluten free vegan pancakes at home. oI ordered the american style blueberry pancakes; they were flavourless, dense and not fluffy, and undercooked. The maple syrup was also very lackluster. The pineapple juice was good.

Everything looks very promising - nice ambience and creative meals. However, the pancakes do not taste very special. Pretty dry and the toppings were not enough to dominate the pancakes. Unfortunately, far too pricey for what you get. I’d love to give it a second chance if they improve their recipes tho

I had the pancakes with home made safram pistachio ice cream and I didn't like it at all. The ice cream was not my thing, although I usually like pistachio ice cream. The pancakes didn't really taste so good on it's own, kind of gummy. I had to poor over a lot of maple syrup to make it taste a bit better.

Has both savoury and sweet vegan pancake options. Both were moist and delicious! Recommend sitting outside if it's warm though, they don't have air conditioning and with the kitchen being so open and close to the eating areas, inside can get extremely hot! Otherwise I would have rated it higher.

I had their GOOD LIFE pancakes, the portion was big enough and the taste was OK. I just wish the pancakes were not as doughy, not my favorite type of pancakes. The price-performance ratio was not that high so not planning to go back again.
