This place is great, really big menu and big portions. Taco shells were legit and tacos themselves were super tasty!

My favorite Mexican Food - Edit
I've only been here twice but the Al Pastor and the Pollo tacos are amazing. I really want to try the burritos and the nachos someday. I live in Hillsboro and I hate driving, otherwise I'd go more. I really wanted to try the cake but they were out. Friendly service.
Read moreThey really pay attention to flavors at this place. They don't just slather everything in salt, like many restaurants do. There are some other vegan and vegan friendly Mexican places in Portland that are good but this is hands down the best .

LOVE MIS TACONES - Edit
Updated review 3/29/25: I got a torta for lunch! While the quesadilla is still my favorite item there, the torta bread was so soft and fresh and delicious. I always enjoy visiting Mis Tacones😄
Read moreFinally got to try them in September (sorry for the late review) and my food was AMAZING. Delicious delicious quesadilla. It was so filling and flavorful. I ended up taking the 2nd half of it to work the next day and it reheated awesome. I really liked the vibe of the restaurant as well, it’s very cheerful and lively. Ample seating outdoors that we enjoyed with our friends. I really love this place. I also think it is super cool that they do a lot of good community work to help out others😄

Great food, service needs help - Edit
The server we first met was very abrupt when we asked about how to order. Rudely served our drive. The second server was very nice and helped to be sure we were well taken care of.
Read moreI had the nachos; my partner also partook from my plate and said the best nachos I've ever tasted. That's a lot from him as he never orders nachos.
Pros: Loved the nachos, Tacos al pastor, yum
Cons: One rude server. Not friendly with questions; CL, CLUNKED glasses on table. Other server was great.

Visiting Portland and making sure I eat as much fabulous food as I can. I'm so glad my Portland food journey started here. The meal was delicious. Everything we had was so good. Burrito, Posole, Empanada, horchata. Service was friendly and fast. I'll certainly be back.

Will be going every time I visit Portland. - Edit
There’s a reason this place has been awarded as much as it has, it is phenomenal!!! This is easily on my top 3 vegan spots in the continental USA. If you’re going to try just one thing here, make it the taco al pastor because it is truly one of the most delicious culinary dishes I’ve tried, probably ever. The pickled onions with the seitan and garlic cashew crema pair so perfectly on top of the corn tortilla, it’s truly a life altering experience. I’ve also indulged in the empanada de papas con soyrizo, quesadilla pollo, and their horchata. Everything was honestly a 5 star experience but the tacos truly are a next level experience. If you’re vegan(or even not) and searching for a local, Portland, vegan restaurant to support… trust me when I say you NEED to try this spot!!

Pretty yummy - Edit
Was able to squeeze in a visit to this place before I left town and I’m glad I did!
Read moreAfter suffering much indecision I landed on getting tacos–a soy curl taco, asada taco, and I can’t remember the name of the other but it had beans on it. All of them were great, and I’d recommend the pickle onions to top them. Our group also shared the nachos which were perfectly messy!
I think I’d give this 4.5 out of 5 if possible, as there were a couple of things that could have used a bit more flavor (guac, salsa, etc) but overall it was great. I took 5 nonvegans with me and everyone raved about it!
One thing to note–it’s a pretty small space. We had 6 and got lucky pushing a 2 top together with a 4 top but if you have more than 4 in your party and the weather isn’t good for sitting outside, be aware yall might have to split up.

My tacos…? My high heels… ohhh… doh! - Edit
Went to this restaurant between shifts and wanted to grab something to eat quickly… I ordered their Quesadilla Asada, and waited twenty minutes. I was expecting my order to be quicker, but I found out that this isn’t anything like Baja Fresh. This is an actual Mexican restaurant, vegan style. Everything on the menu looks good and the quesadilla wasn’t bad. I simply wish I had sit down and enjoy my meal. I’ll have to come back for their nachos. Definitely worth the trip.
