Serves meat, vegan options available. Japanese restaurant located on the 25th floor of Granbell Hotel Colombo. Offers a vegetarian five course menu that can be veganized upon request, including herb & flower salad, teriyaki tofu, garlic rice, grilled vegetables and fruit platter. Also offers maki rolls that can be made vegan. Open Mon-Sun 12:00pm-3:00pm, 6:00pm-10:30pm.

Go elsewhere or just enjoy the view

Dinner was rice and cucumber with soy sauce.

I went to the restaurant in advance to ask if they had any vegan options. They asked around and finally assured me that the vegetarian 5-course could be made vegan. At first they did not think about the dessert but after a reminder they then changed it to a fruit platter. I made an additional reservation for the next night.

Once I arrived for dinner I ordered and after a while the waiter came back to inform me that the "soup of the day" on the vegetarian course menu contained fish. He then tried to sell me the 5-meal course, at full price but only offering 4 courses.

Instead they could offer the cucumber and beetroot maki. Went to bed hungry and cancelled my reservations for the next night.

Would not recommend.

Cons: Fish isn't vegetarian or vegan, Expensive
