this was so good, best indian I’ve ever had and up there for favorite meals in general! I asked if he could make the dal makhani vegan and got butterless naan😄will be coming back a LOT! (I wish I could give 5 stars)

Cunning cuisine - Edit
Mini Taj is a familiar eatery with various vegan options. The samosas were great and the two accompanying sauces had a delicious and refined touch. The Aloo Gobi and garlic naan were satisfying as well. Portion sizes are rather small and it would be nice if they had plant milk to enjoy their teas, but apart from that I had a nice dinner with very attentive service.

The experience about try the Indian food, with the perfect grade of hot and spicy could be found here at Mini Taj. New address, new place and same traditional flavour. Very interesting choice. Easy to find, by now, quite big and more fresh. Easy get into and in a very nice neighborhood.

Family Style Friendly Close to Zocalo - Edit
Delicious variety of vegan and vegetarian options in a small upstairs family-style restaurant overlooking a street just one short block from the Zocalo. A bit hard to find at first (go inside the shop court then upstairs). I tried the eggplant baked in tandoori plus no-butter garlic naan and just loved it. English menu with a full separate page for vegetarians plus an exceptionally friendly welcoming English-speaking staff made it easy for me to find all the vegan options. Will definitely be back! #Veganuary
