The best vegan place in Málaga - Edit
We planned to go for lunch at Mimo, but plans changed and we ended up there at dinner time. So happy we did, because this really is a special place.
Read moreThe spaghetti with pulled jackfruit was absolutely heavenly. The burger is excellent and a little ‘fancier’ than your standard vegan burger. As a dessert, definitely try the chocolate mousse and end it all with a delicious cocktail.
We went back for a second time on our last night in Málaga and the owners remembered us and explained even more about the food when they realized we were interested. They were really lovely and super passionate about their restaurant and the food they serve.
Ask about the ‘electric flower’, and definitely try it if they have it!
I can’t recommend this place enough! Make sure to call and book a table because they get busy.

Incredible food, amazing staff - Edit
i would go back to Malaga just to eat there! The food here is vegan and seasonal. The menu changes depending on the veggies on the market! The staff is super friendly and will explain everything on the menu with great detail. The food gets prepared in front of you and with such care! Most favorite vegan place in Spain! Ps: make sure you make a reservation- the place is small and always full! Yes, it is that good!

Insanely good! - Edit
Oh my. This place is wonderful. The family that runs the bistro is so kind and welcoming. The food is DELICIOUS. The flavours are bold but balanced, there’re different textures, and the dishes are both healthy and delicious. I highly recommend this place. Reserving a seat is recommended because it’s small and apparently always full (this doesn’t surprise me). I wouldn’t go here for a quick bite. Make it a date and get a cocktail. They’re really good.

Very nice little restaurant, staff is extremely friendly and helpful, the food seems to be prepared with a lot of love and dedication, all fresh and very tasty (had a salad with tempeh and I never before liked tempeh as much as I liked it here and a raw cheesecake for desert)

They sell raw and non-raw food. I usually don't enjoy raw food so much but their lasagne is INCREDIBLE! So so tasty, well done.

Lovely meal - Edit
We enjoyed three courses, each one delicious. Because menu is ever changing with the seasons, I hesitate to tempt you with a description of the dishes we ate in the height of tomato goodness...an amazing cherry gazpacho, a terrific buckwheat hemp risotto and a surprisingly wonderfully seasoned pumpkin adzuki burger. It’s delicious food in a bright and comfortable setting- as if you were in a friend’s home.

Wonderful - Edit
Such a delightful experience, a menu using fresh, local, organic produce with no added nasty stuff in creative tasty dishes that I struggled to choose between. I ended up having the raw salad with pea tempeh and just picked small figs. Delicious. I was tempted by the lemon tart, but sadly there wasn’t room. I recommend highly.

Amazing food, atmosphere and service - Edit
The food here is absolutely incredible. The portions are on the small side, but the presentation is on point (and I guess this is all the better, as it allows you to try out multiple dishes). I have been here several times and it has never disappointed. The food is amazing and the service (if possible) even better. They are clearly passionate about what they are doing and this genuinely shines through. Would 10/10 recommend to anyone passing through!

Best vegan place ever! - Edit
I went to eat at Mimo the other day. Then I went there again. And somehow I ended up there again yesterday. How that happened? Well, this is for me the best vegan place I've ever been to. The cook Ania is very conscious about the food and serve only local, seasonal, gluten free products. You won't get junk food there and feel amazingly healthy even after eating huge burger with chips!
Read moreOkay, to the shore! During my first visit, I ate ROLL IT UP starter with zucchini, shitake paste, cheesy, tomato cream. Omnomnom! Then I decided to go for a WONDERLAND PASTA. Omg, how amazing was that! Creamy, mushroomy with a fresh touch of parsley. When I was thinking I have no more place in my stomach I saw a lemon cake. So fresh, so nice, so tasty! I never tried anything like that before. Trully amazing! The second time I went there, I ate JACKFRUIT and fell in love with it. How can potato be so good? Avocado paste and sprouts on top made it the first class, well thought, integral and complete dish! I shared desserts with a friend and we had CHOCOLATE MOUSSE and day's special SPINACH CAKE. No words for that. Chocolate mousse couldn't be more chocolatey and it comes with biscuits, strawberries and cashew cream. Spinach cake is trully the best cake I've ever had and I hope Ania will repeat it soon so amongst all of you I can eat it again. Yesterday I went for the DWIGHT SCHRUTE'S BURGER and again was blown away. I love when burger is moist and has a lot of sauce! And bread that it comes with is sooo good, grainfull and makes the dish one of a kind. I'm not a fan of chips but these purple potato oven made chips I swallowed without a problem. I have to confirm previous opinions and say-best burger ever! I couldn't leave without a dessert so this time I tried RAW CAKE. Didn't surprise me how great it was.
So as a frequent visitor of Mimo Vegan Bistro I invite aaall of you, vegans and not vegans to come and try. Food made by Ania is amazing, the place is run by lovely polish family that will welcome you heartwarmingly and you will feel so cosy and nice in there. Bartek will serve you and provide with all the informations and add some titbits about the products. From Aneta you can expect delicious cocktails, juices and coffee, and from Jacek-amazing drinks! If you want to drink vodka and stay healthy, Jacek will prepare you delicious alcohol kombucha drink so your balance will be zero! So totally recommend this place! This is a definite must visit!

Lovely tiny place, Lovely staff, Tasty food - Edit
MIMO Vegan bistro is unique in Malaga! I'm not a vegan but I couldn't get a better first experience. The food was fresh, tasty, well presented. Both the Chief and the waiter and bartender are lovely and dedicated, the service was really nice and careful. I'd definitely recommend it, and go again, perhaps even only for the delicious negroni that they made to me after dinner o_O

A must visit when in Málaga! - Edit
Mimo Vegan Bistro is a cosy and welcoming restaurant with an interesting menu, including starters, main meals, desserts, juices, smoothies, and cocktails - even kombucha ones!
Read moreThey are ecologically and environmentally aware, everything is organic, and a lot of the dishes (if not all, I can't remember) are gluten free. They have specials every week which will not be listed on the menu.
Throughout the whole meal my partner and I kept exclaiming how beautiful everything was. The preparation, presentation, and combination of flavours were all second to none. Every single bite was beautiful.
Do visit when you are in Málaga, the food is an experience here. The service is wonderful too, all the staff are extremely kind and friendly, even giving us a complimentary shot of strawberry vodka as it was my birthday 😊
Pros: Everything
Cons: None
