Samedi midi, aucune option vegane. On m'a proposé une quiche avec... Des œufs !!! J'ai halluciné. Le lieu se dit alternatif mais en exploitant les mères !!! Marre de ces lieux qui surfent sur ce concept et maintiennent l'exploitation.

We went there for lunch and loved the atmosphere right away. The staff members were all lovely and helpful, the organic food delicious, with vegan options for almost everything on the menu. They also sell high-quality bread and crafted goods like jewelry and zero waste soap.

Read moreThis cooperative has a small bulk store with bio, local and seasonal products and serves vegetarian and vegan food only daily (Monday-Saturday).
Loved the food, all bio and seasonal, the generous plates, enough grain, salad and veggie to go on until the evening, with delicious gaspacho and amazing desserts too. There is always ALSO a vegan option it seems, very cool. Don't expect banana smoothies and avocado toasts, as they are really into local and seasonal here, for real!
The place has a very cool vibe - the whole decoration is up-cycled, wooden paletts transformed in to sofas, hand-made pillows, plants everywhere... The people working there are really into what they do and the association at the end of the hallway, part of the project too, works on promoting eco-friendly lifestyles in daily life and raises awareness through workshops, movie-nights, school visits etc.
Apparently the place is labeled as "family Friendly", they have a kid's corner and a kid's menu with healthy food for a change, so a good place for parents to chill for a coffee break😄
Pros: super tasty, generous portions, 12 euros for a plate, not bad at all for bio

Best place to take a rest in Esch/Alzette - Edit
Mesa is easily reachable by foot in the city center. I have been there to grab a cup of tea a few times and can only recommend this cozy and friendly place.
