Buen ambiente y comida - Edit
Nos preguntaron si éramos vegetarianos y nos ofrecieron un plato variado para dos personas. Pudimos probar todas las opciones vegetarianas del menú. Muchas son veganas. La calidad y cantidad es muy buena.

I had the mixed vegan plater which was really delicious. It was served really quickly by extremly friendly service. They even asked if I want some more or if it is sufficient. The portion was huge by the way

Highly recommended! - Edit
Very popular place, frequented by mostly countrymen, very cozy and familiar vibes, maybe a bit stuffy if you like spacey restaurants. We ordered the mixed vegetarian platter, which is also vegan, and it was soooooo good, every component was spot on, perfect spicyness, amazing fluffy injeera, loads of vegetables, and the chickpea stew was my personal highlight. Staff also gave us an Eritrean shot after our meal, which reminded me of Raki. Loved every minute of our visit here and can highly recommend this place!

Very large portions and very delicious - Edit
The food is super delicious. The portions are very large. The presentation of the food is very appealing. You should allow some time, as it is a very popular restaurant. Waiting times have to be taken into account. However, we are happy to accept that. We have already tried many Eritrean restaurants, and this is by far one of the best. All the staff spoke both German and English, so I don’t understand some of the other reviews. It is highly recommended. The price-performance ratio is reasonable.
Read moreWe had been looking for a long time for an alternative to the original Savannah and have finally found it here. We would give five stars if it were possible.
If I had one criticism, it would be that the food is a bit salty. I would prefer if they let guests season to taste at the table.
Pros: atmosphere, taste
Cons: salty, location

Delicious large portions and late opening hours - Edit
It's hard to find something with an open kitchen at night, but in this place the kitchen was open at night. The portions were large and really tasty.
Read more2 out of 3 waiters did not speak German, English was also difficult. But the 3rd waiter helped us with everything.

Great food, useless service - Edit
Came here due to the great reviews on Happy Cow. Vi ordered the vegan plate for two. We then proceeded to wait for one full hour to get it! In the meantime, other tables who arrived and ordered half an hour later than us received their food. We had to remind the waiter that we were waiting (they'd clearly forgotten us), and when nothing happened, we had to remind them again. The food was lovely, very fairly priced and it was a large portion. However, we asked for some chili which didn't arrive until we asked again 10 minutes later. When we asked for the bill, they forgot us again, and we waited an additional 10 minutes to pay.
Read moreThe restaurant is not very big and 2 staff members should have been able to take care of it, but the wait time was extremely long and unfortunately it ruined the experience. Wouldn't come back even though the food was super nice.
Pros: Tasty food, Fair price
Cons: 1 hour wait for food, Slow service, not very apologetic, We were constantly forgotten

Best Eritrean food in Frankfurt - Edit
I've had my fair share of Ethiopian/Eritrean food and still was very impressed! We got the veggie combo and it was so delicious. The staff was also very knowledgeable about what was vegan and very friendly in general. The shiro wat they bring out in a steaming pot to put in the middle of the dish is *chef's kiss*. It is also so reasonably priced for so much food and the interior is so cozy.

Best ever from the horn of Africa! - Edit
We've been to over twenty Somali, Ethiopian and Eritrean restaurants all over the world but this made it to the top. We had a vegetarian which means vegan here combo for two. The spices, the flavors, the purple inyera bread were mouthwateringly good. And we loved the colorful but cozy interior.
