The most renowned vegan restaurant in Amsterdam - Edit
In the past I had tried to eat here a few times but it was always fully booked. It's advisable to book in advance. I finally managed to come with a group of friends. We all had different dishes so that we could taste the different flavours. The options are varied and interesting. The general quality of the food is good. The prices average for Amsterdam, aka expensive😄for what you get but it's worth it from time to time. It's a good option for vegans but it's not my favourite, there are other great places in town with more personality.

I’ve been to both this meatless district as its twin in de Pijp several times now. There’s always something new to try and it’s nearly always good. This time we had the lasagna, which I thought was pretty amazing, and the nut roast and fries on the side. Tasty! We had the cheesecake for desert. Good, but not that special. The restaurant has a cozy atmosphere, exposed bricks and all. Definitely a nice place if you want some good vegan food.

Restaurant ziet er gezellig uit. Mooi interieur, fris en modern. Leuke gerechten op de kaart. Smaak was goed. Personeel was niet heel erg gezellig. Vooral bezig met eten opnemen en serveren. Miste wel echt sfeer en klantvriendelijkheid. Zal niet gauw nog een keer gaan.

I absolutely demolished mine in record time as it was so good.
Lindsay left a quarter of her bun but ate everything else on the plate.
Chips were perfect and the mayo was very nice.
Busy Sunday afternoon, we were served quite quickly, had a couple of beers to wash it down and the grand total came to €40, which seems about right for the area.
Decor was classy and staff super friendly.

Went for Brunch and had a Full English breakfast. Portion was slightly smaller than what I expected, but I didn’t leave hungry. Service was ok. Was quite packed of people when I visited.

Food was ok but service very bad. If you are open until 23pm, don't start cleaning (kitchen) with the door open (it's winter!!) before 22pm, where people sitting next to the door and are still eating... Would not recommend or come back. Food was average, but it's the service that ruined the experience for sure.

We came here for my partners 30th as we wanted to go somewhere fancy to celebrate. This did *not* disappoint. We both had the sourdough and olive oil to start and pumpkin risotto for mains, my partner had a cheese board for dessert and I went for the chai creme brulée. All SO delicious and really inexpensive for good date-night quality food. We also had a couple of kopstootjes to get into the Dutch spirit 👀 which was great.

It’s a bit pricey but the portion sizes are worth it.
The only downside is that they rely a lot on processed foods (vegan chicken, burger, bacon, etc).
Would love to see more whole foods!

It's hard to find a vegan restaurant with a romantic, evening setting that is busy but not overly crowded, but this place nailed it.
Read moreThe food definitely lived up to the hype. The highlights for me were actually the deserts which me and my partner shared. A creme brule and a cashew cheese board.
The camenbert was unreal. If we weren't in an 100% plant based restaurant I would have thought they'd served up the real deal.
I would highly recommend, but make sure you book before hand as it fills up fast!
