Really well priced for portion size

We had an awful lot of food for under £30. We had a pakora bloomin onion, mixed pakora, masala chips, potato aloo and a “chick’n” biriani.
We ended up taking enough food back home with us for the following day.
All the food was made fresh to order and was really tasty.
Would come back here again.

Authentic home style veggie/vegan cooking

Really lovely and attentive staff. The chef came out to welcome us and check how the meal was.
I had the mushroom curry and paratha which were both vegan and my husband had a panneer version of my dish with a naan.
We really enjoyed both meals. Very flavoursome and authentic. We will be using this place as our go to when in town

Pros: Authentic, Friendly, Variety

Best vegan Indian food we’ve had in ages

Whilst researching somewhere to eat on our daytrip to Wolverhampton, we stumbled upon Meat Free Planet which opened only 6 weeks ago.
Reading all the great reviews on Google we decided to get something to eat there and it was amazing! All the staff were super friendly and helpful. After some explanation from our server we decided to share the ‘Aloo Gobi Baigan’ (potato, cauliflower and aubergine) curry and a steamed rice.
When the food arrived we were really pleased with the value for money in terms of portion size and also the flavour and consistency of the curry. The curry was infused with fresh herbs and spices and there were a lot of vegetables in a thick sauce. Definitely the best curry we have had in a couple of years, after quite a few disappointments of late!
As we were queuing up to pay a female chef brought out some freshly baked biscuits and offered us to try one for free. They confirmed that it was vegan and the warm biscuits were lovely and warm, fluffy and spiced as well.
We were very tempted to buy a box of the biscuits to take away, but already had our minds set on a portion of pakora and a couple of vegetable samosas. The pakora and samosas came with (what we think was) tamarind sauce. It was all very delicious and we devoured them in no time. They were really well spiced and fresh tasting and again really good value for money! If you’re in Wolverhampton I urge you to visit for lunch, dinner or to just get a snack. You won’t regret it!

Pros: Super friendly staff, Amazing freshness and flavours, Excellent value for money
