Food was good, but... - Edit
When we got there, they were getting their food delivery, and the door was propped open. In November. So we sat there freezing almost our entire visit. Despite this, I was really keen on having a milkshake but was told they were out of ice cream. Anyway, the food was really good. Then we ordered the deepfried Oreos and we were told they were out of Oreos. The server went to check just in case and some had just come in as part of the delivery, so at least we had those.

Great place for vegan poutin! - Edit
Nice restaurant that, among others, sells many variations on poutin. Very tasty! Though a bit on the heavy and fat side for me (I had the Nashville poutin). Also had a good milkshake. Not all types of poutin were available when I visited. I hoped to try some fried oreos but they were also out of those.

Comfort food - Edit
A fun and chill place to get some Americans type comfort food. Fried Oreos, right? Everything was vegan. Although I'm not a fan of cheese curds, theirs was surprisingly good (if you like cheese curds) because they source it from a small place in Canada. The service was cool, my thanks to my server Teya.

Ok - Edit
We had a nice experience, though they were having difficulty keeping up with tables and we waited a bit longer than we would have liked at each of the service points. We noted other tables waiting throughout their meals, as well.
Read moreKiddo enjoyed the corn dogs "pogos" and the Mac n cheese. The Nashville "chicken" sandwich was a lackluster and I didn't enjoy the slaw. The tofu was cut a bit thick for my liking and the flavor was a little lacking. We ordered fries, but didn't receive them.
Sadly, all of our stomachs were upset the rest of the day.

Great find for reasonably healthy meal - Edit
It can be hard to eat healthy when traveling, especially when it comes to vegetables. We walked into Maynard on a rainy day because it was the closest vegan spot to our hotel and were quite pleased. The service was super friendly and helpful. I got a BBQ sandwich and cole slaw, my friend got the ranch wrap and we shared some tater tots. The cole slaw was well dressed but not the usual mayonnaise dressing, which was a pleasant surprise. The tots were well seasoned and we both enjoyed our sandwiches. My one suggestion for improvement would be that while the bun for my sandwich was good, the top of it was a little hard to bite into so it made eating a little messy. A slightly softer bun would work better for the sandwich. Obviously that's a very minor "complaint." Overall, we were very happy with our meal, the cuteness of the spot and the excellent service. It's also more reasonably priced than a lot of places in the neighborhood.

Quick and filling! - Edit
I asked for recommendations and the staff was very kind in offering their suggestions! I ended up getting the wrap (wrap ranch I think ?). I ordered in person and it came out quickly. It didn’t knock my socks off but was tasty with the crispy tofu! I would definitely try more items!

So freakin’ yummy! - Edit
This was my first time visiting Maynard and I’m glad I did! The restaurant has a great vibe and the staff are knowledgeable and friendly.
Read moreWe ordered the classic poutine, bénédictine country, and tofu Nashville sandwich. All were amazing. Highly recommend the poutine - the gravy was so flavourful and the cheese curds melted in your mouth.
Definitely a place to add to your Montréal vegan bucket list. Can’t wait to come back!
Pros: Great selection, Quick service, Good location

Great poutine, wonderful server, extremely warm - Edit
Both the person I was with and I got poutine on a hot summer day.
Read moreIt was hotter inside than outside (at least 95F / 35C), and everyone in the restaurant was sweating buckets -- we almost left because we felt bad asking kitchen staff to make food and asking the server to bring it to us. The server was excellent and brought us multiple bottles of water to deal with the heat. We ended up staying. The poutine was truly excellent -- good texture, amazing taste -- and far exceeded any other vegan poutine I've eaten or made. Even in the boiling weather we ate it all and practically licked the plates clean it was so good.
Pros: Great service, Great food, Friendly atmosphere
Cons: Small bathroom, No AC

Delicious poutine - Edit
First time trying poutine and this one did not disappoint. From what I’ve gathered this is probably the best place in Montreal to get a vegan poutine. Also the cookies and crème milkshake was creamy and satisfying.

Vegan fast food 3.5⭐️ - Edit
Friendly staff, nice vibes and location, with a small menu vegan fast food….
Read moreI love some comfort food on occasion and was eager to try a number of their dishes and milkshakes. Disappointingly, the milkshakes were not available. We tried m:
- the delicious poutine (specifying less gravy thanks to other reviewers): 4/5⭐️
- the ailes pleurotes (wings) with BBQ sauce which I thought were tasty (but my husband found them to be more fried coating than mushroom): 3.5/5⭐️
- the mac-n-cheese which was dry & bland: 2.5/5⭐️
Perhaps the milkshake would have amplified our experience, but overall we left feeling full but not quite satisfied.
Pros: Friendly staff, Fun ambiance, Vegan poutine
Cons: Pricey, Not nourishing, Small menu with essential items unavailable

Great milkshakes! - Edit
I loved their milkshakes! The strawberry one was so nice. They were out of Oreo and chocolate milkshake both times I went, but I bet those taste incredible too!
Read moreTheir poutine was the best we tried in Montreal. I just didn’t like the cheese as it didn’t melt and it felt a bit weird, but the gravy and chips itself were incredible.

POUTINE - Edit
Obviously I’ve been missing poutine since going vegan. This was the closest thing I’ve tried to the real thing!! The staff was super friendly and helpful when I called with questions about allergies! I don’t live in Montreal but if I did I would be there all the time. I got the buffalo poutine and the pogos, so good😄

Très Magnifique! - Edit
Such a gem! Staff was friendly speaking both French and English, and service was very fast, got food in like 10 min! The vegan poutine was very good! The Nashville could be customized to be less or more spicy and was also very good, everything is better deep fried! Also god the milkshake which tasted just like dairy! Would come here again.

Best poutine and sandwiches - Edit
I am obsessed with their curds. It’s the best poutine in the city by a mile. Their spicy Nashville tofu sandwich is also excellent. The menu is small but everything is well-made and you can tell the owner cooks with love. Adorable spot for a quick bite or takeout.

They have vegan poutine - Edit
Not a huge fan of poutine but I had to try it—the vegan cheese in it is really good but it was too much gravy for my liking. Nice selection of vegan comfort foods.
