Delicious!

The food was super tasty, they have a daily menu for around $4 that includes salad and a main dish. The owner is really kind. We will be back for sure!

Approved by an Indian

This is genuinely the best and most authentic Indian dosa I have had outside of India. As an Indian Londoner, with a lot of experience of dosa in my life time, I can only recommend this place. I came two days in a row as the food was so delicious, having the Mysore masala dosa and masala chai made with almond milk - both were delicious. The sambhar and coconut chutney which accompany all savoury dosas are perfection.

Pros: Freshly made food , Nutritious , Excellent service

Amazing dosa!

Incredible variety of different ingredients/flavours of dosa's to choose from and the dosa was full of ingredients so nice & filling! The owner was super friendly and knowledgeable. There were a couple of things on the menu that weren't vegan but otherwise it was 95% vegan. The menu is mostly dosa, no menu for curry or other Indian dishes but this is understandable as dosa is their specialty!

Pros: Amazing dosa, reasonably priced

Best customer service in SE Asia

The Indian sweet potato slider thing was so good. I wish I had more.

The owner is super nice. Without a doubt, the best customer service I've received so far on my trip in SE Asia (and that was in week 4 of my trip)

Pros: Customer service

Indian food with a SE Asian twist

Went here today and was greeted by the owner who seems really nice. Some really unusual fusion flavours on offer, for example Tom Yum Dosa. We went for traditional Indian flavours with an original and a chana masla dosa. Both delicious accompanied by some tasty sambar. Those, a beer and a chai tea set us back almost $9. Very tasty.

Pros: Great food, Friendly staff, 100% vegan

It's Dosa Jim, but not as we know it.

This place does some very unusual fusion of Dosa with other cuisines like Chinese. Unfortunately my favourite Dosa is paper and that wasn't available, though the regular dosa's were light and crispy.

The service was very good, with added extra chutney's offered and some lovely Indian spice mixed with sesame oil really added to the dishes. I did ask for a knife, but I couldn't get one because it would rip the banana leaf underneath (which wasn't really necessary as it was on a plate already) and ended up ripping it anyway using the fork and spoon provided.

We got the Keema Dosa with fake mince meat, which was the best aside from having to pick the peas out as I'm not a fan. Also we got the Szechuan Mushroom Dosa, which is part of the fusion with Chinese cuisine, it was also tasty and a bit of a different flavour for a Dosa, but totally works.

Unfortunately is was super stuffy in the restaurant and the fans didn't seem to cool at all until after dark, could use some air con. Also I got the lime soda as well and not really keen on it.

We had two dosas and two drinks for about $10.45 so it was good value for money.

Pros: Great service, Great value for money, Really unsual fusion of dosa with other cuisines

Cons: Stuffy and airless could use some air con., Knives not available, Paper Dosa's not on the menu

A delight to the senses

So...coming from Vietnam, food here is a lot more expensive. By western terms it’s still incredibly cheap. My partner and I shared a savory and a sweet dosa, as well as were given complimentary dumplings and a new menu item to try. The owner’s name is Dharma, and we loved to hear his story and his vision for his restaurant. We don’t usually spend so much on meals when we travel, but in this case, I definitely didn’t mind spending a little extra to support his dream. We had the smoked eggplant dosa, and the coconut and chocolate. They were both lovely. 10/10 recommend.

I might not order the Masala Lime Soda again. That just wasn’t my thing, but I see what he was doing with it. It just didn’t work for me.

Pros: Friendly owner, A change up from usual Khmer fare, Good portions

Cons: A bit expensive for locals to eat there

Dosa Heaven

I am from Chennai - I was told by my son to use Happy Cow app to find a Vegan restaurant. As soon as me and my wife landed we tried looking for Vegan food and we found Masala Dosa - I must truly admire the Chef who has transformed Dosa to another level which no one can imagine. Truly cooked with passion right in front of you. All Dosa's is described with ingredients very impressive and informative menu. Food here tasted so fresh, the ambiance, music and the service is remarkable. I will highly recommend this place. Value for money, we choose to eat Signature Dosa because they are unique and very well prepared. We tried the Guacamole Dosa, Hummus Dosa & Masala Chai with Almond milk which was truly divine. Good luck to Mr. Dharma.

Great spicey food and service

Excellent food here with service to match. All English menu with full disclosure of ingredients, you can also watch them cook it. I'm going back soon just because there are so many kinds to try. Two dosa and a drink cost about 9USD.

Pros: Good central location near the waterfront, Speak English, Good food

Hemelse dosa

De superaardige eigenaar maakt aan de straat veganistische dosa met een ruime keuze aan heerlijke vullingen. Je krijgt er niet snel genoeg van, maar pas op: eten laten staan is not done.

Beautiful food, Fantastic service

Everything on the menu was vegan, the owner (also the chef) warmly welcomed us in and was very keen to answer our questions, as well as making many suggestions as we'd never heard of Dosas before.
He gave us a vegan cookbook to read while we waited for our food and service was impeccable.
The szechuan dosa was quite spicey although the heat complemented the flavours beautifully.

A MUST DO BEFORE YOU LEAVE PHENOM PEHN

Pros: Lots of vegan options, Wonderful service , Groovy music

Delicious food and fantastic value

We loved the music and the food. The owner is such a sweet man with admirable values of care for others and the environment. It's evident that he's doing this for the love of it and not to get rich as his prices are excellent! We had 3 dishes and 2 masala chais for under $13 USD and we look forward to returning at least one more time in the next couple of days! Our favourite was the Mysore Masala dosa which had the perfect spicing! Having a vegan eatery so close to the main sites in Phnom Penh is fabulous! Another ringing endorsement was the sight of at least 6 young Indian men relishing their food. Thank you for the excellent service and delicious food!

Pros: Tasty Food, Great value, Friendly owner and server

Truly amazing

Dharma has design the recipies himself. He also cooks and serves the delicious dosas himself! The chutney and sambhars are also very tasteful. I ate here almost 5 times and it was perfect each time. Do try the chana masala dosa, avocado chocolate dosa and Masala Chai.

Pros: Great taste, Good service, Authentic

Cons: Limited options

This place is the best

If you love Indian food you’ll love it here! So many options, all of them come in a dosa except the days specials (and think they’re bringing Vada Pav to the menu soon?!) many traditional Indian fillings and stranger ones too if you wanna try something different! Really nice staff run by a friendly Indian/American guy who makes all the dosa fresh on this hot plate out front. Try it!

Pros: Amazing food, Big selection, Great value

Excellent Dosas and lovely relaxed vibe.

Chose this place to meet an old friend and we sat until the doors shut! We both had Masala Dosas which were lovely and ridiculously cheap. $2.50! We drank a lot of beer and ended up having a Dosa desert which I’d never had before. Lovely too!

The owner is an Indian guy who lived in NYC for ten years. Interesting fellow.

Couldn’t recommend it more highly and I’ve just aren’t a lot of Dosas in my time!

Pros: It’s vegan!, Great selection of Dosas, Run by an interesting fellow

Cons: It’s not actually on 178 but a little off

Best dosa since India

Loved this little cafe - well decorated comfortable and most importantly AMAZING food!

The dosa is great - very similar to in the south of India and the sambar was identical! Coconut chutney has peanuts (which I don’t think was labelled) so be aware if you have an allergy. The chai masala was great and very authentic also.
Tried the smoked eggplant dosa which was incredibly filling.

Highly recommend trying this place for a quick bite to eat in Phnom Penh!

Pros: Has a no waste policy , Authentic Indian food , All vegan (bar one caramel dessert dosa)

Cons: Hidden peanuts , Only delivers within 1km
