Loved it! - Edit
We really enjoyed being in such a ‘vegan for the animals’ place. Without Spanish we struggled a little to make our order and weren’t really sure what we were getting. But we ended up with an impressive looking tamale - inside was cornmeal with seitan and tofu. Filling and delicious. On the side was a simple arepa. I had a hot chocolate too which was lovely - sweet but not too sweet. I would highly recommend visiting this place. As others have said it is not obvious from the outside as no signage. Even if the rope is across the doorway it is still open. I’m not sure why some places seem to do that in Colombia as we saw it elsewhere too.

Great food and staff! - Edit
We enjoyed dinner here (fixed menu, soup and a plate with salad and rice) and got some pastries as well. They told us they’d have pizza the next day. My partner came back that day and arranged 3 pizzas for delivery the day after. One of the staff, Valentina, helped carry it to the venue. The pizza was tasty and huge. Bonus points for Prince the cat!

Lovely service and Great Portions - Edit
Wonderful wait staff and good food. The meal of the day was warm, could be hotter. Flavors were mild, but yummy. We had hoped to try the pizza, but the chef came in late so only the meal of the day was available. We enjoyed anyways and had our first taste of curuba fruit.

Very friendly place for traditional Colombian dishes made vegan - Edit
It's hard to find vegan options for traditional Colombian food. This place has multiple different options, as well as pizza and hot dogs if you aren't feeling adventurous. Their fruit juice is made with either filtered water or almond milk, so non-locals can feel free to try traditional Colombian juice drinks (I loved the curuba with almond milk).
Read moreI have had the patacon, and it was good and lots of food. It came with freshly made guacamole, delicious! I've had both kinds of arrepas the serve. I preferred the tofu but both were good. And I had the pizza. It absolutely is some of the best pizza I have ever had. Pizza lives and dies by the quality of the pizza dough, and their homemade pizza dough is delicious.
For desserts I have tried ther peanu and almond cookie, chocolate chip cookie, fudge cookie, and cinnamon/almond pastry. As usual, all were delicious, and really large!
Note that they don't have a sign outside, so its easy to be unsure if you're in the right place. They are next to a hostel, and they just have an open door with a rope across it. If the door is open, you can go in.

Menu del dia - Edit
Jazz in the speakers. Second time I come here and now it was open. Fast service. Grandiose portions. No fake vegan products on the menu today. Don't know if it's my taste buds or if I just miss hot sauces in the food, but I thought it was very neutral in terms of taste. #Veganuary

Cheap eat - Edit
(to my embarrassment) I spoke no Spanish, and the host no English but he kindly wrote out a message on Google translate to say they were offering a set menu only (as well as a counter full of baked goods). I received a soup and a plate with rice, tofu, salad and plantain for less than 3 pounds. The cookie and pastry selection in the counter was amazing and the jam cookie I had was delicious. The staff went above and beyond. Towards the end of the meal I found myself in a sticky situation and one of the waitresses (who did speak English) was unbelievably helpful and kind! Couldn't thank her enough.

Cute place - Edit
Very cute and quiet place in the historical centre. There were 2 options, menu of the day and tamal. I’ve chosen 1st option. I was told that they have other options during the week. They have a big variety of desserts too. Staff is very friendly! Thank you! #Veganuary

Alright food, could be better - Edit
Visited one evening, around an hour and a half before closing. Host was welcoming and sat us immediately as there was no one else there. Due to the timing, there was very limited options which was disappointing.
Read moreWe ordered arepas, a tamale and a patacon goulash. Portion sizes were very big, as 3 dishes were way too much for 2 people (our own fault)
The food was OK, seemed a little flavourless but still decent enough to eat.
When it came time to pay, his card machine wasn't working so had to go to the closest atm to take out cash, with a fee, so make sure you have cash on hand. For the food we got, it seemed a little pricey for 2 people, but maybe some other items are cheaper. Would need to visit to see what is available
Pros: Location, Vibe, Portion size
Cons: Limited Menu, Price, Flavour

Sabrosa - Edit
Tasty half and half vegan pizza with a nice cheese that’s not too chewy like most vegan cheeses. Delicious baked goods also. Be aware that the opening hours vary.

Traditional Colombian dishes, VEGANIZED! 🙌🏾 - Edit
There were a lot of traditional Colombian dishes that we were unable to try because they weren’t vegan. Marvelous vegan was the one place we got to try veganized options of beloved Colombian dishes, especially the amazing guava and cheese pastry, which we fell in love with! Sad we didn’t get to meet the infamous cat, as he was asleep at the time of our visit. Looking forward to returning when we go back to Bogota!

Delicious typical Colombian food but then vegan! - Edit
A little restaurant with a few tables, serving typical Colombian dishes but then the vegan version. The couple working there was really sweet and friendly. The food is delicious. We had empanadas with vegan cheese and ham, tamales, served with hot chocolate, and arepas with mushrooms and as dessert Colombian pastries. The interior decoration could be a bit more cozy (right now plastic chairs and very bright light).
