The ramen (creamy vegan udon) was maybe the best I’ve had outside of Japan. Was really looking forward to the tempura but it had sat under a heat lamp for a while and was a tad flabby and greasy.

Poor for vegans - Edit
The noodles were spot on but curry soup was simply chip shop style with non existent vegetables (unless you count root carrot and potato). Tofu skewers were massacred. Fairly cheap but overall disappointing.

Great vegan options on Waterloo Station - Edit
My favourite Japanese restaurant chain outside of Japan. It has very good udon and delicious vegan matcha ice cream. Everything is marked very well and the price is good! Definitely can recommend to eat here if you are on Waterloo station. It is on the upper area of the station where you can go with the escalators. Also offers free water, just ask for a cup. Right up by the lush store.

Quick and convenient - Edit
Very quick and convenient option within Waterloo station. We visited before our walk down to Southbank and shared a curry udon and curry rice, with tempura broccoli and pumpkin kerokke, which were well spiced and very flavourful. With your order you can also help yourself to fresh or pickled ginger and chillis. All in all, good value for money.
